- Tucked away in a small village in rural Spain this was is exceptional find. Located within an old tower, it extends over some five floors. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there, albeit for only one night. Our evening meal was cooked to order and served on an enormous dinning table. Breakfast was also very good. The Hotel Rural La Torre would make the perfect romantic location.Highly recommended. Thank you...
- Not quite what we expected but full of charm and character. Large comfortable well appointed room, excellent shower and a very friendly helpful owner. Evening meal was decent and brekky was lovely. Not much else going on in the village but a wet and windy day for us.

- All good...
- Wife would have liked a mirror in the bedroom
- The biggest issue was that contrary to their BOOKINGS.COM ad, English was not spoken by all members of staff. No tea making facilities in the room.

Pretty little hotel, tastefully renovated into a traditional building. Very comfortable and located in a small quiet village. All staff very helpful and friendly. This would be difficult to find without Booking.com
Wife would have liked a mirror in the bedroom
We liked everything here and would definitely stay again. All staff were friendly and efficient. We stayed Sunday night and had an evening meal which was tasty and good value. Breakfast was equally good. Our room on the 2nd floor was enormous with three double beds, full size bath and a fridge.
Staff nice, breakfast good, interior and design fabulous!
Comfortable welcoming and great value for money. Rachel’s cooking and generous evening meals were excellent. Miguel couldn’t have done more

Friendly staff, very nice food, perfectly clean, well-appointed room, wonderful renovation of a historic building
Delightful individual decoration and furnishing. Friendly helpful staff. Very good value. Spacious comfortable rooms
It is a lovely old building in a quiet village just right for 1 night on the way to the Ferries
the food was good but a little more choice would be nice
This is a very special place to stay. An old defensive tower given a new life. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was huge and supremely comfortable. The welcome on arrival was second to none.
Having 2 dogs roaming around us wasn't good.
What a find. Absolutely superb hotel, rooms huge and each uniquely furnished in small village restored watchtower over 500 yrs old full of character. Owners helpful and friendly. Good spot for touring around the Picos. Definitely back in the future
A beautiful location with helpful & friendly staff. Good food, good wine and value for money.
This is such a lovely place to stay, so welcoming and comfortable. All the historical and quirky furnishings have made La Torre a beautifully restored building, we loved it! We stayed in the purple room, complete with wonky floors, huge wooden beams and a unique arched door set in the original stone. The bed was really soft with a mattress that probably needs replacing, but it wasn't a major issue for us. Tiny village and very quiet surroundings, but in an ideal location within 90 minutes of the ports. We had dinner there in the evening, a fairly simple menu but delicious and very good value. A super find!
A fabulous place to stay on our journey around Spain. Miguel made us feel at home immediately and took time to explain all the facilities as our Spanish is limited. The Continental breakfast was filling with great coffee and a good selection. Our room was on the top floor and although there were a few flights to climb as there is no lift we had no difficulty. I will add that we never travel lightly so the host did carry our cases upstairs when we arrived. We also had a great nights sleep on the really comfortable bed in our Red room. An added bonus for us, was parking our car directly outside the hotel but there was ample and safe parking in the square. All in all a great stay in a lovely hotel.
Amazing place. 400 year old construction with a recent rebuilt with a great outside terrace. Super large room. We had dinner and it was a great value for money relation. Good breakfast. Highly recommend.
I loved the character of the property and it’s location in a small village. We had a lovely room on the top floor - a double bed, shower room and a fridge containing a mini bar.
It would have been nice to have a second chair in the bedroom
La Torre is a beautiful small hotel in a tiny village close to the stunning Ebro river and gorges (and so many vultures it's difficult not to spot them!). A very personal service from the owners, freshly preparing dinner at a time that suits you, and at a very reasonable cost. Breakfast on a similar basis.
Location in the small village with beautiful surroundings, cozy room, excellent breakfast, friendly hosts Miguel and Raquel with their sympathic dog Bowie
Everything was perfect
