* conveniently located close to the main road* spa, restaurant, parking, super nice rooms, superb bfast with gluten free bread * great money/value * dog friendly (!) with no additional fee

* the hotel is also an event space and we were unfortunate to be there at the night of a few events. This meant that there was no parking initially (the receptionist had to move her car to free a space for us) and in our room we could clearly hear the music and the party was going till 1 am in the morning. Happily we were moved to another upgraded room after two calls to the reception but it’s better to check if there is an event on the night of your arrival and ask for such a room in advance if you want to rest, not a problem if you also want to party :)

Everything was just perfect, clean and stylish and very compfortable beds too!The breakfast was amazing and so was the whole restaurant experience in the evening.There is even a play area for kids beside thw swimming pool, everyone had a great time.

Peaceful location and a well-maintained property. The wellness area includes a pool, hot tub, dry sauna, steam sauna, cold-water plunge, and a massage area (at an extra cost, of course). It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and spend one or two days unwinding.

We couldn’t manage to regulate the air conditioning from the digital panel — it was either completely off or always on. Beds could be improved, as the mattresses felt a bit saggy (for a 4-star hotel, you’d expect more attention to detail). The “standard” double room has a windowless bathroom and no air conditioning, with rather dated furniture. Maybe guests expected more.

The wellness area is superb (finnish sauna and steam cabin, both functional, cold water tub, cold water, outside area). Four electric car charging stations are available.

Prices in the restaurant are a bit high.

Breakfast had good selections for meat, cheese, eggs, cereal and juices. Room was warm enough. Parking was available.

Some staff at the reception had little knowledge of the area and did not seem very cordial. Did not let us know that we had to ask for items like a kettle for the room and slippers. No staff working in the wellness areas. Tea and glasses were never replenished and dirty dishes not removed. No staff to take notice that young kids were in the fitness center without supervision or that people stayed in the whirlpool for long periods of time so others could not use it. No fresh towels during the day. Saunas did not start till 17:00. This was not clear before arrival. Restaurant menu could have more choices.

Excellent location, close to the highway. Spacious, clean, comfortable and great facilities.Highly recommend!

Our family room was nice and comfortable with good A/C. The view from the room was beautiful. The hotel has a wonderful pool area that we really enjoyed with our kids, and the sauna was also nice. We ordered dinner from the restaurant which was tasty, and breakfast was also good. Not a huge variety, but enough for us. Hotel was easy to find and had a nice parking area for our car. It was a great location to be close to both Augsburg and Legoland, which is exactly what we needed. We would recommend! We hope to return again someday.

Great hotel near autobahn. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The breakfast had variety of foods. Also, dinner in Biergarten was delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for pool.

I didn't like mattress blanket, it wasn't smooth like rest of the bedding.

1. The flexibility. We arrived late, and the staff made its best to arrange that we could still use the bath with its facilities and still have dinner before the kitchen closes.2. We also could stay a few hours more to benefit from the bath facilities after the breakfast. 3. The bath is quite comprehensive, we really enjoyed it. 4. Breakfast was great, quality and diversity.5. The Biergarten was nice and very friendly. We really enjoyed the dinner.It was not the first time, and last year we enjoyed it so much that we asked to stay for another night.

Nothing, we really liked to stay here.

We booked the room for our trip to Legoland, as birthday gift for our son who turned 11. I want to express my gratitude for the stuff helping me in organizing a memorable birthday. I contacted them in advance and they were very willing to help me with a cake for the dinner birthday (as a surprise after one day at Legoland). More than that, in the morning of his birthday, we had a table full decorated for my son, with balloons, a gift card handwritten and a Lego gift. My son was very very happy!!! The cake they prepared for us for the evening was over our expectations. I mean they were really attentive at my messages and it was a very big surprise for us to have Lloyd on the cake (for connoisseurs...). The stuff helped us again to share the cake with the children were there for dinner and the atmosphere created was very impressive for us, as the children were singing Happy Birthday for our son!!!! So, we spent a great great birthday far from home, but all this would not have been real without the kindness of the hotel stuff!! Thank you!! Thank You!! Thank You!! My son says that he wants next year to be at Schmid Hotel for his birthday ..:).

Food was excellant, room was nice, glad to have a bath.

No Kettle, pool silly shape, cold plunge pool bubbles didn't work.saunas good, wet room wasn't great it needed a clean.

nice, modern hotel with excellent restaurant, wonderful breakfast buffet and a very enjoyable swimming pool (because we were delayed on our trip we did not have time to try the sauna).

The only thing I can think of is the shower: the shower head cannot go up very high due to the water screen height. Me being 2 m tall, this meant hand-held showering.

Room was a good size for family of 4 and beds comfortable. Pool was a bonus after a long drive and the beer garden served good food with friendly staff.

Open plan bathroom with glass doors isnt the best for a family with teenagers. No kettle in room to make drink. Other than pool and beer garden, the other communal areas were basic and a bit unloved. Price for one night was expensive for what you got compared to a different hotel we stayed at two weeks previously.

This is a wonderful and very comfortable hotel with good and clean chambers, a good restaurant and very nice swimming pool and wellness area.Very good hotel to stop and have a stayover when riding to Croatia or Bulgary!!

The pool and the jaccuzzi area.

The superior room toilet and bathroom was a bit uncomfortable. Both the rooms together had only 1 sliding door which was kind of not comfortable.Payed 416 euros and felt it was not worth the amount, regarding size of the room etc. But room services and everything else was good.
