It was all good
Very quiet during night time despite the closeness of the DOM. Traditional food is served at the restaurant And the breakfast you will enjoy a standard morning meal.

The mattress was a bit loud but comfortable
Very frendly, attentive staff Lovely restaurant - the forelle was excellent. Clean room. Great pillows. Lovely view of the cathedral.Ideal location for attending a concert at the dom. Convenient parking.
The shower cabinet is a bit small. Toilettries are basic but perfectly functional. The shower head fixture was a bit wobbly.
Fantastic location. The name is the give away for it's proximity to the Cathedral and the Schluchtensteig Trail runs right by it. The staff here were very friendly especially when I was checking in. I can only speak a little German and the lady checking me in could only speak a little English but she was so patient and it was kinda fun going through the process. The hotel has a great cafe bar / restaurant which was really really good. Good breakfast. My room was very clean, and comfortable.
The stairs, corridors and room were a bit dated. However everything was clean and well kept.
