spa was very nice

there was no comfortable seating option in a single room. Also, after dinner, there was nowhere to go and sit comfortably, as the spa closed at 9 PM. No lobby, no sofas. Absolutely not acceptable for single traveler

- Dinner was ok but not outstanding. Meat was not very well cooked and the portions were too small.

Went there in the middle of snowy season and were met with an incredible location in the middle of the forest. The air is so fresh and clean.They offer an extremely cheap shuttle service (3€ per person) to the nearest train station, needs to be booked two days in advance, so don‘t forget. Taxis in the area are few snd expensive (60€+ for a 15 min trip). Food was great, breakfast was luscious and plentiful and dinner was very reasonably priced, healthy and delicious. There was always a very good vegetarian option as well. The saunas and spa area are very big for a hotel, the changing rooms could be a bit bigger, but that is rarely an issues as guests always arrive and leave staggered. Indoor pool is nicely heated and massages were amazing! We spent the weekend and feel refreshed, with new energy for the rest of the year, or until the next stay, which will be very soon!

Empty minibarInflexible staff - we paid for half board, they charged us for our dinner anyways and corrected it by reversing the dinner charges rather than the surcharge cost of the halb board option, even though we couldn’t use it.Sauna opening hours too restrictive. Not compatible with one-night stay essentially. Again staff responded inflexibly to a corresponding remark.

The hotel enviroment is very good, surrounded by nature, beautiful, and quiet. Hotel staff is friendly. Food is very good, expecially breakfast is excellent!

We are a family with kids, and we didn't know the swimming pool has limitation time for kids to swim. When we went to swiming pool with our 6 years old kid, we were told we were not allowed to swim, and only over 14 years old are allowed at the time. However, we have asked a girl inside the swimming pool and she said she is 12 years, and we have seen another girl later which is 8 years old, and she was also allowed to enter the pool at the "forbidden time". We had talked to the Director of the hotel, and he considered us to be very rude people as we ask to make an exception. The hotel themself ignore and break their own rules and let other kids go in. We hope the hotel can have better management and can either bring fairness to all the guests, or more convenience to family with kids.

For adults the Spa and pool area is nice. The location is very quiet on a lovely lake in the woods.

I booked this Hotel with 2 Kids. When we arrived, I leaned that the pool times for children are restricted to certain hours of the day. In the Spa area kids under 15 years were not allowed at all. And this was mentioned nowhere! This important information, when booking a family vacation during school holidays, was not visible in the Hotel requirements on booking nor in a follow-up email after our booking confirmation. It was a big disappointment. Also after speaking to the hotels management and pointing out, that I could not find these limitations before I booked, their answer was, I should have looked on the hotels website and need to inform myself properly about the hotel. They did not see their mistake by not informing potential customers properly on booking.com. Furthermore, the hotel charges 9€/person on the day of check-out for pool and spa area access. I have never seen such a strict and customer unfriendly rule. If you just want to swim 30min in the pool after checking out at 11:00am. The Hotel is in a nice location with potential, but the management should really work on their customers expectations management and costumer experience.

The breakfast was amazing! Plenty of vegan options.The lake and the nature around it is beautiful, the spa is great, the hotel as hallways conecting all the buildings so moving around was very easy and pleasant!

Rooms in the shared main building were a bit outdated in design..the place is quiet secluded so a car is definitely needed.

Nice restaurant (great breakfast and dinner options). Very relaxing spa offer and wellness area. Nice room with lovely lake view. There many additional amenities on the property for a nice vacation with kids.

While there were a few vegan options for the breakfast and dinner, there could have been more, especially as I gave advance notice that two vegans would be visiting. It was adequate for a short stay.

Food is not good enough for the money you pay. Room was full of alive and dead ladybugs. Even after they cleaned it they came a dozen more. The TV was not working; the curtains were either not closing or letting the light in which woke up the kids early in the morning; one evening the water didn’t get hot but that was fixed until the next day. We were not offered any reduction / compensation. The food in the restaurant in the evening doesn’t have a high standard.

Magical place located in the middle of a forest. The room was spacious and quiet, overseeing a lake. Lots of walking possibilities. Two swimming pools.

Exceptional

The spa does not open until 2pm which makes no sense if you are staying multiple days and the weather is bad. Reception said you could call and the spa would open but when we tried they said it was not possible.

We loved the cozy but spacious room. The sauna was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was served untill 11 and it's quality was satisfying. We loved taking a walk around the lake by the hotel.

Nice and neat

Poor quality food, opaque staff, no sense of experience just service and again being in an isolated place where they are the only food choice, can be delivering that quality of food.
