Centrally located, nice staff, comfortable facilities

Excellent location, brilliant value for money. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Very good breakfast that was included in the booking.

It was a good stop on way back to the UK. The staff were very helpful.

Few amenities in the room.

Easy to park, big nice rooms. Huge portions in the restaurant (too big actually), good breakfast.

We missed extra pillows.

We're from New Zealand and speak very little German. The staff were great and were patient with us. Had a wonderful dinner. I'm a Coeliac and have an egg allergy and the chef made sure I could eat anything on the menu. I even had my own little breads pre dinner.

For us everything was fine.

Friendly staff, small but still comfortable (single) room, free parking, clean and well maintained, excellent breakfast, good restaurant.

Lovely hotel with a great restaurant. We use it regularly as a stopover en route either to or from Italy. Wide choice of food for breakfast and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.

This is our fifth time staying at this hotel. We love it and it is our preferred choice when travelling through the area. Very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Staff always really helpful. We love that it has a restaurant on site and the food is exceptional. Breakfast likewise. Plenty of parking outside.

The chef is amazing! We had the best main course of duck that we have ever had!!!! That and the very cozy atmosphere of the hotel and its restaurant made the stay very memorable!

Amazingly cosy hotel a short walk from the centre of Hauenstein. Relaxing gardens and a great outside bar ??. Free off-street parking was a big bonus as we were travelling by car ?️? though spaces are limited. There are several EV chargers too. Room was clean with beautiful view of the hills. Breakfast was outstanding! Highly recommend ⭐️!

Slightly but lovely quirky room. Loads of space quiet. Food was excellent and not too expensive. Breakfast was a treat, great coffee. Just a stopover for us but great walking in the area. Super dog friendly. A little gem hidden away in the shoe town

A quality hotel, well maintained, with an on-site restaurant which was excellent. Our room had a balcony and plenty of space. Style of hotel and rooms is traditional quality, which we appreciated.The bar drinks and the restaurant were both excellent with the food being a particular highlight and clearly prepared by a good chef who knows about quality ingredients and flavouring.

There was a little road noise which meant we had to sleep with the window/door closed (our room was at the front).

Splendid breakfast, very friendly staff. They made us feel welcome even with our dog (well behaved but quite big). Splendid terrace and view on the garden. Very quiet hotel and outdoors. Beautiful walks in the forests nearby.

The food was excellent. We had booked the restaurant ahead of our stay and it was a good job. It was full. We had a lovely meal in lovely surroundings. We also had one of the best breakfasts of all time. Amazing to find this in a very non descript little village.

The room and communal areas were absolutely spotlessly clean, also the room had mini fridge, and the breakfast was great and included bacon and sausages!

good location, helpful staff, amazing restaurant even if you don’t stay at the hotel I recommend going to their restaurant
