The shower had good water pressure and we had a decent view from our room. I didn't see any bed bugs.

The room was a bit stuffy. The carpet in our room was in need of a deep clean or straight up replacement as it was covered in stains. The breakfast was not very good. Service was almost non existent as there was rarely any staff to be seen. When we checked in we had to look for an envelope with our name on it from a stack of envelopes. This hotel seems to be in a state of disrepair and has barely any service.

The host was amazing. You can see that he cares for the people and wants then to feel good. I booked this hotel without checking too much what they offer, I just saw breakfast and it was in the Area I wanted to be for good price. Then when we arrived, we didn't only have a room we had a whole apartament. The apartament also had a kitchen so we were able to cook a bit.Breakfast was also with reasonable things, normal for the German buffet ? There was even a sauna and a pool which I didn't at all expected for the price :D Sauna was 5 euro per person per day, very reasonable price.There was a space for our bicycles and we were able to also charge with no issue our ebikes. Whatever we needed the host was accommodating and trying to help. Generally great experience, I was very nicely surprised .Some of the facilities are a bit older and not yet renovated but this also supports then the price to be lower. Preis-Leistung really great.

Actually everything was great, especially for that price. Strange thing was that the water in the tap kept on getting warmer before it gets colder:D we had to wait some time to put water in the bottles .But on the bright side, warm water was available right away :D

quick check-in and check-out, spacious room, quite decent breakfast, friendly host. If you arrive early, you will have time to visit the pool and sauna (open until 10 pm)

Firstly I liked the fact that there was a person (I guess he was the owner) at the reception when I arrived.I hate those hotels where there is a computer to do the check in.It's not far from the main road (small deviation), but very quiteVery friendly guy, and the whole place is just as I like it, easy going, providing what you need at a great price.I also liked the small village and the fact that there is a Bistro so very close to the Hotel (approx 100 meters)Good wi-fi connectionI loved the coffee and the breakfastI will surely use this place again.

What would I improve ?I would put a kettle in the roomI personally like to make a cup of something hot in the evening (tea, herbal tea ect)Small thing that would make a big difference.

Superb value, comfortable beds, clean spacious room, lovely breakfast, quiet street, easy check-in, friendly staff. Definitely would stay again.

Shower was a good temperature, but the shower-head is waiting for its turn, in the hotel’s extensive renovation project.

The hotel was very nice, staff was very kind. The room was very spacious. Breakfast had a nice selection and overall the hotel was very cozy. Train station is a walking distance.Old city center was a 10 min walking distance (or a short car ride if come with a car, but not necessary) - some nice bakeries/restaurants, and it is a rather quiet and nice walk, and if you detour a bit into a little stream you may end up spotting two sheep and a playground. Beautiful hikes are starting from the hotel.There was also a (very) small and cute swimming pool - which my 10 year old daughter just loved to play around in the afternoon. Near the pool there is also a tiny relaxation room where you can read or meditate and a good public shower if you want to clean off right after the swimming.

Some parts of the hotel were still being renovated so were closed off but looks like there will be a nice activity room in the near future. The Sauna was not hot when we tried it so you might need to book in advance.

Staff was very nice and friendly. They really painted attention to the details.

Facilities are a little old, but clean and comfortable.

Definitively needs renovation overall - this wasn’t mentioned. It smells unpleasant towards the gastronomic area. No staff at the reception at any given time

Fantastic owner (who was super friendly and spoke excellent English). Clean and simple room. Nice breakfast.

Nice clean, quiet hotel in a small village with trees all around. Room had everything we needed. Good basic breakfast.

The heated bathroom floor, too hot. Heated the room on a hot day.

Great location close to main road as used for a travel stop between Croatia and UK. Rooms and hotel were basic but had everything we needed for a great stay and was in a lovely village.

The decor is a bit dated, but the hotel is under new ownership and they are busy updating the rooms.

We had very spacious rooms with a balcony and a big kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge etc... Lovely dining area and en suite bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean. Great free coffee machine at the reception. We arrived late but the info and keys were already waiting for us at the reception. Overall very easy and uncomplicated check in and out. We had a really good sleep and a great stay.Also the lovely little town and surroundings are great to explore including a shoe museum and the "shoe Mile of Germany" with shoe manufacturers and shops for every pocket to suit

Nothing really bothered us.

Nice room that was large and comfortable, that was recently renovated. Very nice balcony with direct view of the large forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was also ok, although a bit limited in terms of options (no eggs, only bread rolls and ham, cheese and cereals). Parking is good as there is a quiet street outside and plenty of free parking space available. There are also common facilities that are useful in the lobby such as microwave, vending machines and a coffee machine.

The hotel's common areas are in the process of renovation, so the elevator wasn't working, and the hallways looked old. But the good price and quality of the room makes up for it.
