Double room was nice and quite modern. It had everything I needed. Breakfast was good. Hungarian food and wine was nice.Outdoor terrace was nice for enjoying a drink.

Staff does not communicate comfortably in English, which is not a big problem if you know a bit of German. Breakfast has to be ordered up front. The latest I could order breakfast was 08:30, which is quite early if there has been festivities the day before, especially since there is not a lot of other places serving breakfast around. I appreciate that the staff provided me with breakfast even though I had forgotten to order.

I have booked the hotel in advance. I got my confirmation for booking. Arrived to Germany, then I received the message from the hotel that there is “no room, room is not available!” And my booking was still shown as confirmed, there was no “canceled” status, payment for accommodation was deducted from credit card! I tried to call, reached the hotel after several attempts, but unfortunately a hotel representative could not speak English. It was absolutely awful experience ever!!! To arrive to the country , to have the booked room in the hotel and then a day before check-in to receive the message that I have no room ti stay ! And then afterwards, I was struggling to get my payment back! It took lot of my time , I had to ask my German colleague to call and help!

I booked it because I needed a place close to Seeheim-Jugenheim, and compared to other locations in the area, the price seemed fair. Checking in very late in the evening was not an issue and was very helpful.

The room was nothing special. I traveled alone and the room had a double bed with two mattresses, but only one mattress was made up and equipped. While I understand that I paid for single occupancy, it still sends an odd message to the guest. The guests in the neighboring room were quite loud, and the walls were rather thin.

We had a lovely stay! The hotel was clean, staff was super friendly and the bread at breakfast was seriously one of the best breads I've ever had - and not only I travel a lot but I also choose my hotel based on the breakfast! (well, it's the priority at least...)

Even though Alsbach is a quite place, at times the road was a bit too loud but I don't think there's much you can do there given the nature of the town layout

It has been updated since we stayed there in 2016-lovely job! Everything was clean and comfortable. It is very close to the homes of our friends in Alsbach which makes it very convenient for visits. The breakfasts were delicious and the owner and staff were very welcoming!

I have just returned from Germany to the UK. I stayed here on my own, visiting friends in the village. It was very quiet and calm. Very clean. The owners were kind and very helpful. With a friendly attitude. I will definitely stay there again on a return visit in the future.
