Pros +
- Friendly staff. Car (and bike) chargers in car park.Good sized bedroom and en-suite.Good choice of items for breakfast.Convenient for a raft of cycle routes.
- Great location. Wonderful place to stop when on a cycling trip. I also liked the fact that the Abdij employs people with mild disabilities. They are doing a great job in terms of hospitality and socially.
- Personell es extremely flexible due to my booking very short in advance. Very kind to talk to them at the phone prior to my arrival. Breakfast offered everything you need.
Cons -
- Mixed grill for dinner was a small helping but the large spare ribs my wife had made up for this.
- There wasn't anything I disliked. Okay, perhaps.....i'm picky with my pillows and mattresses, but then again, I'm that princess with that pea...But no, I really enjoyed my stay.
- No complains

Excellent breakfast, super helpful and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Good restaurant.
Very friendly, well provided breakfast good choice comfortable bed.
Room was very cold on arrival, as the weather was cold and damp the radiators could have been turned on earlier in the day to warm the room.
This is a building with a history in a quiet place. Nice and friendly staff and I would recommend this place to everyone
Breakfast was superb no complaints. The meal I had in the evening was 10 out of 10. The location was easy to find and had good parking facilities. The staff were very helpful and very professional. The hotel was old and full of character Lovely place to visit.
Bed was very small but acceptable.
Lovely quaint hotel with history, Quiet Location, Free Parking, Free self service breakfast (good varied choice, including Vegetarian)
Stairs were a little steep.
Breakfast was ok, the location is perfect the surroundings beautiful.Pity the weather did not cooperate otherswise well worth a walk in the area.
The beds are not very comfortable, old saggy matrasses. The diner was besides the salad not very good. Wines were really bad and the staff could be a bit more friendly.
Great breakfast, staff is super friendly and the place is very pleasant
Nice hotel and sure even better when the restaurant is open - I picked one of the few days it wasn't. Staff nice and very helpful and recommended a good local restaurant. Breakfast goo.
Travelling alone I cannot say if family or pet friendly rooms are suitable however I can confirm that for a person travelling alone this hotel has everything needed, it is clean and the staff go above and beyond to help you out. The breakfast is basic but nice. There is a nice bar/restaurant a 2 minute walk away with very friendly and welcoming localsAll I all a very nice place to stay.
CleanGreat breakfastGreat service
Good bed and shower. Breakfast was good.
Check in took a long time, room on ground floor was very noisy. As there was a gathering going on (Bingo) and the people were smoking just in front of my room and the toilets were next to my room, so bad luck with the room I was given.
Breakfast very goods, hospitality and kindness very goods, free parking on the hotel was very appreciate ; the restourant was good but limited to the local dishes but very well cooked
the room was small, and bed it is too much soft for me , Bathroom small
Great breakfast, beautiful exotic interior settings, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, value for money. Totally recommend it.The disadvantage would be the location. Taxi is the best way to go around however it is cheap. It takes 10 minutes by taxi to the Roermond center. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and quiet. The location itself is a tourist attraction; so pleasant to walk around and discover the rural area.
So, Unprofessionell
they forgot to give me key for my room, so that i have to wait 2 Hours 25 Minutes in Total in the midnight.
Staff friendly, good location
Beds were old and soft, place needs renovation
Excellent breakfast, good sized room, parking readily available, nice village, good price
does not have a lift, but it was not really a big problem
Small room but very cozy. Excellent food in the restaurant and the hosts were very friendly!
