- A very unpleasant experience at the restaurant: after having dinner, we wanted to have a desert (kaiserschmarrn). I was looking for about 10 minutes for the waitress, but I couldn't see her. When she finally appeared, she told us that because it was already 9:03 p.m, it's too late to order our desert, because the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. German strictness taken to the extreme... At check out next day, I mentioned this to the receptionist, who apologized several times saying that it was totally unacceptable and she will mention it to the owner. I would be really curious if this happened.
- It was exceptionally hot during my visit, so I found sleeping difficult. Being in the top loft room didn't help. However to be fair the hotel can't control the weather!

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, easy parking, clean room.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady on the reception desk, they explained that the restaurant was shut on a Monday but told us of a pizza restaurant, a 10 minute walk away and booked us a table there. The hotel was presentable and had covid hand sanitisers in place. Breakfast was fresh and well presented. The staff members that we come in contact with were friendly and helpful. When we came back from our evening meal, the bar was shut but the manager, stopped what he was doing and then severed us even though he was shut.This was also a biker friendly hotel.
