- This is going to be my go-to-accommodation when visiting my childhood home. I have been staying here a few times and it always is an experience! Mrs Sass is a wonderful hostess and supportive if ever needed. The breakfast is very special and I absolutely understand why the other guests gush about it. The member of staff who is responsible for setting breakfast up is just lovely and you can see the effort and love put in the trays. Little tip - book well in advance as this is a highly sought after location.

They would would not deter us from booking the hotel again in the future.

Exceptionally clean, super friendly staff and a superb breakfast. Haven't slept that well in ages! Shower had very decent water pressure as well and the rooms are very sound proof - we only found out at breakfast that there were 10+ other people staying there as well.

A hotel at the Burg Stargard … you literally enter through the lower gate of the castle to get to the reception. Extremely kind and helpful service!You can walk around the castle after closing hours.And we found it very charming that we needed a small carriage to bring suitcases to the hotel. Bring cash for parking and coffee.
No lift and uneven old stone pavement from parking which is absolutely no problem for most people.
