die Post Hotel mit Self Check-In

Spacious room, large bathroom, interesting location in a small town next to the market square. Tasty and simple breakfast. Hotel restaurant offering tasty and simple meals. However, if not, there are several other restaurants and grocery stores next to the hotel. Good wifi.

I would like to see more comfortable bedding and a single/combined, large mattress rather than two single one/separated for the king size bed.

Clean friendly good food

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. We had to leave early in the morning and they were willing to prepare us breakfast even before the official time.Parking in front of the hotel.

I would appreciate espresso in the morning (what we got was americano I believe), but that is a matter of taste I guess.

There was too much noise through the night from passing traffic. Not the hotel’s fault obviously but it kept us awake all night

Location was in the middle of town, parking was just a short walk away. Breakfast was very good, the breakfast room has lots of room to view the offerings.

The walk to parking was short but, just a little bothersome.

Very helpful staff. Very good evening meal with now problem with gluten free. Very clean and comfortable bed.

Just what we expected - a lovely village hotel with a great restaurant - not to mention the relaxing terrace for a drink!The breakfast was top class!

Seemed more to be like a restaurant than a hotel. Looked new and pretty modern. Staff looked like they were run off of their feet, and spoke little to no English...so checking in, and then getting food was definitely a challenge, let alone parking. Rooms were basic but clean and totally acceptable. Breakfast was...continental and passable.Food in the restaurant was very good

Just seemed like we were from "out of town" and not very welcome - maybe because of the language barrier, but there seemed to be so little staff, I think it was a "quick, let's get theses guests sorted, and I can be on with serving other people in the restaurant"

The closure wasn't very nice since we didn't know about it considering we had a reservation.

Nice location not far from A7 highway but just far enough. Rooms seem recently refurbished as all looks quite new. Friendly staff during breakfast (we arrived to early but they happily received us)

When we arrived the music in the restaurant/lobby/reception was quite loud. Unfortunately we were also unable to eat anything at the restaurant even though we arrived before 18.00. Carpet in the rooms is comfortable but maybe not so practical - it wasn’t particularly clean.

horrible arrival

when I arrived at 19.30 hours there was no personnel. the hotel was closed, I couldn’t get in. no response to the bell. no instructions what to do and the persons behind the phone number of the hotel couldn’t help me (was reconnected to another hotel, far away). no answers to questions in the app.

The hotel is conveniently located, parking is just next to the building - however, reversing out to the side street with oncoming traffic was a tiny bit of extra fun.Our room was well-kept, airy, and modern. It was comfortable, with a neat bathroom.The staff was kind, they helped us out with our delayed arrival and late check-in.Breakfast was good, the selection was wide, and the coffee was much better than what I expected.The WiFi worked fine.

No negatives, really. I might have loved a bit more variety at breakfast, but it's far from a complaint.The only thing I actually did not like was the door of the shower cabin - it was impossible to get out of the shower without spilling a huge amount of water on the floor. But hey, when that's the biggest complaint against a room, you know that you are at a great place. :)

I liked the size of the room and the comfort of the bed.

Service was a litte gruff. I heard the next day that locals do not eat at the Post Hotel although the food is supposed to be very good, simply because the waitress has a very harsh demeanor. As she was also responsible for check-in and was very curt on the brink of rude, I totally get their gist.
