Perfectly clean and modernly renovated room. Delicious breakfast.

The room and bed are small.

We arrived well into the evening and we were offered a table in the restaurant - away from a large (noisy-ish) group. Our twin bedded room was spacious.

The hotel was our first stop in Norway - the fixed, three course meal, seemed a bit expensive!

This hotel is so peaceful and beautiful. It’s fresh and well equipped. The dinner was incredible. We waited a while for the food but well worth it. It has an outdoor area that is heaven. We ate dinner and breakfast there.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property but if you want to go somewhere more touristy this place is not for you. It is full of lovely Norwegians but the staff all speaks English as well. We love to immerse in the culture and this did it for us.

Rural location. Facilities were as we required. Food in restaurant was great

Excellent service, great location, watching the swifts feeding in the evening.The food is fantastic, I really enjoyed not having to choose from a menu - just tell them what you are allergic to - or hate with a passion - then be surprised.

It did take a trip to reception to be taught how to open the window - child locks can be quite difficult to overcome - but that really isn't a complaint - but you have to put something in this box !!

amazing location in the middle of the country side. we had a lovely diner and breakfast. very dedicated staff. it's super comfortable for who wants to stop over before a flight from Oslo airport

It was very slippery around the property. Each passing between the buildings was a fight with gravity.

Loved the location with views over the surrounding countryside. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They are all obviously very proud of their guesthouse and cafe, and rightly so. The evening meal was superb as was thr local beer. The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet we had had on our trip.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Comfortable & welcoming feeling of being in the country with better accommodations than we had in the cities we visited.Wish we could have stayed longer & just relaxed. We were visiting relatives there so not on the premises much of the time.

No real choice for the meal (a bit expensive also).Bathroom slightly underequipped.

Exceptional spot. Scenic with lots of historical interest. Nicest hotel of our entire trip in Norway. Don't be put off by the shared bathroom - it was spotlessly clean and well-maintained.

A nice surprise, hidden gem, I would say. The kindest personnel, nice dinner but the breakfast was splendid: classy, tasty and delicious. The warmest recommendation.
