    Pros +

    • Great location, very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile. Our room with balcony was huge. Very comfortable.
    • Amazing experience staying within a castle, great to wander around when visitors have gone, bars and restaurants close by and views to the coast were stunning
    • Breakfast was ok, not v varied, location amazing, main building was remarkable and great views. Having breakfast on the terrace was a joy.

    Cons -

    • It didn’t particularly bother us, but both the hotel and a nearby restaurant had events with loud music on several nights.
    • Nothing really, just the room v. Small but you can't have everything.
    • Diner options need to improve. For example with a real chef and a better ambiance.

We had a brilliant stay. The building, gardens, terrace, parking place, rooms are perfect. Also the location is very nice; just outside of the historical centre.

Diner options need to improve. For example with a real chef and a better ambiance.

Wonderful place, although a bit pricy it was worth every eur. We enjoyed the pool, the historical building, hospitality of the staff, and surrounding view. Just a perfect stay for a couple. Thank you!

It was not fully clear that it is "albergo difuso" with different locations. We paid 30% extra to the original boking price to stay in the building we thought we had booked our room. Still, it was our choice and we enjoyed it.

Just perfect in every aspect.... tranquility, location, ambience.

Beautiful historic property right next to historic fortification. Great surroundings. 2 minutes walking to old center with good restaurants. Very romantic setting ideal for couple holiday or honeymoon. Castle is right next to the hotel.

Everything was excellent except the last night when a wedding party was taking place in the hotel. Which is fine and understandable in such type of venue, but it seems like the hotel is not even trying to keep the guests at least a bit comfortable. The windows are very old and you are literally feeling like you are trying to sleep in the middle of the dance floor. There is absolutely no difference if you keep the windows open. If they know wedding parties are something thay are regularly hosting, they should take measures to soundproof the rooms. Or at least offer ear buds to the guests. We had them packed (as we always do). It was still crazy uncomfortable but without them we would probably loose our minds. The last night was a total waste for us thogh as we fell asleep after one in the morning and had to get up at four due to early departure.

Well located. Clean. The town is beautiful.

None of the spa facilities were open when we were there. We couldn’t use the convent (main hotel) facilities from 1pm on Saturday and there was effectively nowhere else to go to relax within the hotel complex. This was inconvenient given that i was accompanied by an octogenarian. Breakfast was awful.

This was the most beautiful location. We stayed in the citadel which was magical. The hotel was fabulous too. Modern rooms, interesting showers that spoke to you (in Italian!). Loads of places to eat as well as the hotel itself, and the views from the hotel terrace were spectacular.

We were in one of the attic rooms and the remote for the blinds was difficult to decipher.

Breakfast was great! The sunset was amazing in the castle.

Room was a little stuffy but opened the windows and it was loud from the trash truck in the morning.

This property was AMAZING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM! We thoroughly enjoyed our room, had dinner at the restaurant…sensational, and the parking was great. Then we had a SPECTACULAR breakfast for a King and Queen. Couldn’t have been better!!!

The property is very well kept in Gradara Castle, a former convent, beautiful views of the sea, amazing sunsets! All linens are newer, very good breakfast.

We stayed inside the monastery and it is really special. The room was confortable and quiet. I loved the pool and the breakfast area, surrounded with nice vegetation and flowers. Having a glass of wine while looking at the sunset and the hills around was very romantic.

Totally unique place to stay. We were in the convent but could have stayed in the castle. If you are in the area, this place is well worth a night or two. There are restaurants in the castle area. Lovely staff. Our room was mixing old and new with the biggest bed we've ever slept in, in a hotel. We will be back!

Slight better signs for the entrance would have helped, but this is a minor detail!

Breakfast was good. Staff excellent. Small but comfortable room.

Did not get room I booked. Supposed to overlook the Piazza. We paid for an upgrade but didn’t think that was value for the extra cost. Had problem working the shower.

    10CatherinePosted on: 7-7-2024

We liked the position of La Loggia with the beautiful surroundings. We liked meeting the friendly staff who were very helpful in the extreme. The breakfast was excellent with plendty of fresh fruit

There was not anything that we did not like. Perhaps Relais 4 was a bit small and quite a few stairs and also a walk for breakfast but it was in the centre of the town, amazing.

    9JacekPosted on: 6-23-2024

Very good room location behind the walls of Gradara. Clean room. Good breakfast. Private parking place. Extremely supportive staff.

The room I had was small. TV set very small in the room. Air-conditioning in my room could be more efficient-it was ok but just ok and couldn’t cool more.

    7RaulPosted on: 6-16-2024

Its a beautiful hotel set in an old castle town.

the hotel rooms are far from where you park your car , so its better to stay for 2 or more days to really appreciate it.

    10DavidPosted on: 6-4-2024

It is a quiet, characterful building with wonderful rural views and next to the historic town of Gradara. So you have the contrast between this quiet retreat and within 50 metres, an interesting castle and town and lots of restaurants. Parking is free and the autoroute, is accessible as are Rimini and San Merino..

Nothing. It is ideal for a couple.

Beautiful area, the view and building are spectacular. Nice breakfast.

They charged us 200.- to much for a 2 night stay.
