Pension Pirkdorfer See

It felt like the perfect vacation atmosphere from the best dreams. Mountains all around, a beautiful lake. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it deserves special praise. We got the best family room with the best view of the surroundings. Free parking, fast and convenient. Our only regret – we stayed just one night. But that’s easy to fix – see you next time!

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel. We love the location near the mountains. Sitting on the patio or balcony in the evening is simply lovely and relaxing. The restaurant is always excellent and the hotel is always very clean.

No complaints

Very clean facilities with excellent staff that are available for help at any time of day or night. There is also a very fine restaurant in the pension that I cannot recommend more.

They do lock the doors at night which was a bit of a shock for me since I didn't read that the room key opens the main entrance. A bit odd but still my fault for not reading the pamflet.

Beautiful location with gorgeous mountain views. Deluxe family room was perfect for our family of 5. Half board was great … the food was delicious!!!

Very decent pension with comfortable rooms and hot showers. My room had a nice lake view. Staff was very helpful when I found it difficult to book a taxi in the area.

The restaurant downstairs has remarkably loud noise levels due to the tile floor.

I travelled alone with my six year old and they were all so great with me and my son, very mindful to get us a seat to have dinner although we made a last minute reservation and they were fully booked with new years dinners. We forgot my sons plush toy and they immediately contacted us about that! Food was great, room was amazing to sleep and the whole hotel feels great to be at.

I would have liked a room with a view but that would be me wanting too much :)

Disappointing

We booked room in penzion but when we arrived they informed us they have over booking. They propossed us „romantic tent”. Tent was nice but temperature inside was low. Air conditioner wasnt enougt to heat this pleace. Was so cold that we were not able to sleep. Humadity inside was so high that our clothes were all wet :(

Everything was great. The room, the location, the hotel, breakfast and not to forget the willingness of the staff to wait till midnight to accommodate us as we had been delayed by 7 hours due to traffic problems when coming from Croatia and an arrogant and rude Austrian customs officer when crossing a small border from Slovenia less than 10 km from the hotel shortly before midnight. Simply he had forgotten we are in Schengen and needed to check almost everything incl. our dog.

Great staff at reception and in a bar! Great surroundings with lake and mountains! Perfect rooms with fully equipped bathroom! Reality one to one with photos during reservation! Cleanliness on a high level. Great bar and breakfast!

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, friendly, helpful staff. It's part of a holiday resort with glamping and camping , but all very quiet and a nice atmosphere

It's a shame dogs arent allowed in the swimming lake

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was tasty and diverse.
