Pros +
- Location, modern design, updated, and clean
- Super friendly people and lovely room. It had a very large shower and the room was large and extremely well decorated. It was very clean and very quiet.
- John EOinin’s sits in a magical setting overlooking the sea. We made it in time for dinner. The food was excellent. We checked in our room which was our favorite accommodation so far. Clean, modern, comfortable. Felt like being at home. Plenty of towels. Comfy bedding. Amazing view. My son wishes we were staying longer. Would be perfect for a writer or artist to spend some time.
Cons -
- Must use stairs to get to the room, it was wide and carpeted.
- No negatives and we made it work but fyi plugs are far from the bed if you have a cpap machine.
- Menu choices could’ve been a little more diverse

The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and a really good size! It was also lovely and toasty warm for the cold October evenings. I stayed there as I was attending the Irish college and it was a handy location for me to get to my classes and then to also enjoy a great pint of Guinness and some food on my return.
Comfortable, clean, beautiful views

it was a lovely room, comfy beds, and great view of the ocean.
only one outlet, ok two, but right next to each other. located on the wall opposite the beds. at least move the beds to that wall. It's crazy since everything seems newly done. this is a huge oversight in the layout. No trash can in the bathroom. no table except the desk. everything including the coffee had to go on the desk.
Nollaig was very warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable.
Booked a king sea view room. The view was blocked by a large tree, and the bed is a queen size not king (at least not a standard king).
Lovely clean room. Sea view.
No atmosphere in the large bar. No live music or food available.
This is a lovely friendly accommodation with good pub grub and lovely staff. Noah and Aisling are lovely hosts and so down to earth. It's a home away from home. Thanks for a lovely stay
I particularly liked the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, particularly Nollaig and Noel. They couldn't have done more for us. Will definitely go back.
These are really small things. The position of the mirror in the bedroom and no shelf or hooks in the bathroom. Pillows a bit soft.
The location was great, and close to the route of the Wild Atlantic Way. Our room (Number 5) on the first floor overlooking the gravel car park was comfortable and warm.
Despite the wording on our Booking-dot-com reservation - breakfast was not actually provided. Similarly, no evening meals on a wednesday night - in April as the kitchen was shut. This was also the case in the morning, when we saw nobody and could not get into the bar to hand over the keys. All in all, we felt taken for granted.
Great location and a nice, clean , comfortable room
Breakfast nor available
The room was big and well presented. Excellent shower, amazingly comfy bed, super clean, with everything you could need in the room. The staff are awesome too, friendly and helpful.
Can't fault this place.
The bed was so comfortable. High-quality mattress, pillows, and bedding. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The area is breathtaking.
Everything. Staff so helpful and welcoming. Great room and location.
Location was the perfect spot which enabled us to do all the activities we were planning. Very quiet village, beautiful landscape. Couldn't ask more. Staff was very nice and friendly. I strongly recommend this place and will go again
Beautiful staff and roomsGreat bar and food looked amazing but had no chance to try Lovely staff who are most kind and helpful
The pub served delicious food and the staff was really friendly. The accommodations were very clean and the view was lovely.
The rooms were fresh and very comfortable. Lovely bedding and fluffy towels. A really good shower too. A very lovely stay. We got great local advice for walks and sights and suggestions.
If you wanted some where to stay that was clean, comfortable and welcoming then it’s hard to find anything not to like. It’s not a hotel so it has a much homelier feel to it.
Nollag- great hostess. So warm and helpful.Great room and fab views/shower and location..
