SENSI Azores Nature and SPA

Both rooms we stayed in had multiple centipedes, cockroaches were removed from the pool twice. We found stray hairs in our bathroom. Sound levels when receiving a massage were unpleasant and distracting

The location is perfect for a quiet countryside getaway with close proximity to amazing scenery and outdoor exploration. The staff elevate the guest experience with their genuine kindness, attentiveness, and helpful information. This was our 2nd time at Sensi and it didn't disappoint. We also tried the spa services and they were equally wonderful.

The food is a bit too expensive although it’s a great restaurant. The SPA lacks some care but overall good.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Bountiful and delicious breakfast. Comfortable, private, and peaceful outdoor patio outside of the room. Great place to read, relax, and soak up the sun. Quiet in the evening. Lovely grounds and pool area; incredible view of the ocean, countryside, and rainbows! Large shower and nice toiletries. Bar area had great cocktails and light meals.

Occasional public functions on property that diminished its peaceful atmosphere and exclusiveness.

The view was breathtaking, the rooms were gorgeous. The food, pools, spa...everything was just perfect. Cannot reccomend this resort highly enough.

The location, the concept and the chief! Even an omelet he can take it to next level ! so delicious. The staff are nice as well.

Some furniture has to be replaced. The toilet ? seems old and has black scratches inside, it is not expensive to replace them from time to time ! Also the curtains has yellowish dirt from the bottom indicate aging or lack of washing them. All of those are wear and tears to be replaced periodically especially id the hotel is expensive and considered the best in class .

Sensi was an amazing resort for our honeymoon! We felt at home and relaxed here - from the spacious rooms, to the beautiful grounds, and the great food. We loved our private plunge pool and were so glad we chose a room that included it. The staff were very helpful in tracking all our reservations/activities and helping us with booking them. The resort is in a remote area, but still close to a lot of main sights and ~25 min away from Ponta Delgada. We liked the location because the sunsets on the resort were absolutely breathtaking. We did not want to leave at the end of our five night stay! Overall, I would recommend this resort and the Azores in general for couples that want a mix of relaxation and adventure on their honeymoon!

Because the resort is in a remote area, there are bugs, dirt, and other signs of nature! The housekeeping staff does their best to control this. While this is to be expected given the location, it is something to keep in mind for people looking for a pristine resort. All the activities are off site which was not clear to us when booking. We ended up having to extend our car rental so we could easily get to them. There was also a lot of back and forth with the resort when booking our activities - it would have been helpful to have a more streamlined process.

The location (perfect for sunsets) and the design of the hotel are amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dinner was probably the best dinner I had during my entire trip to the Azores.

I would improve a bit the breakfast.

Everything was exceptional! The staff are wonderful and attentive, the facilities are comfortable, the views are breathtaking and the food was absolutely delicious. We had 2 small children with us (11 mo and 3yo) and felt very well cared for the entire time. The staff were all especially lovely with our children.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Loved the beautiful views of the ocean. The hotel was a unique space as a restored farmhouse; well-decorated and welcoming with relaxing music playing at the restaurant, bar and patio. Also the staff were very friendly-Bianca was so pleasant and gave us a great tour of the property. We also appreciated the welcome drink. Marianna our server (?) was so down to earth and sincere. Rodrigo was very helpful with arranging activities and booking a spa appt. Also the restaurant had a delicious menu both for breakfast and dinner that we experienced!

There were definitely flies and bird poop around which the staff explained was expected being in the grass/farmland and so many birds flying around. It didn't bother us much as the place was really serene.

Beautiful property. Off the beaten path but easy to get to everything. Quiet.

The staff and food were amazing. The view and sunsets are unmatched.

We only wish we could have stayed at SENSI longer than two nights. The hotel, the ground, and the furnishings were beautiful. The views of the ocean and sunset were amazing, but the staff stole the show. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The service and food were also excellent and we also enjoyed the spa.

They could use a few more lungs chairs at the pool. Replace the ones in the ground. Prices were the highest we experienced in Portugal but everything was delicious!

Amazing location, stunning view and friendly staff. Low maintenance, facilities (room windows, spa, terrasse) were not clean. For such price level, you must expect higher standard of maintenance.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are great. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Sete Cidades and were able to relax with the spa. The private plunge pool in the room was an amazing touch as well. The food at the restaurant is also top notch. We had dinner there 3 times and were happy to return each time. To top it all off, the service was incredible. The staff at Sensi are always helpful when booking activities and were paying close attention to the needs of each guest. The staff were always personable and remembered details. I would love to stay again!
