Pros +
- The location, staff, sunshine and general atmosphere was just what we were looking for.
- Luxurious stay. Enjoyed the spa area with sauna and steam room.
- - Location- View on the lake- Dinner at the restaurant- Swimming pool with view on the lake- Comfortable rooms- Kind staff
Cons -
- A few suggestions to the hotel concerning vegetarian eaters in the restaurant:We would like to suggest that the main vegetarian meal is completed with some form of protein (beans, chick peas, tofu etc). The meal served was delicious but only consisted of vegetables even if they were good.We would like to suggest that at least one non dairy milk be available for the morning (almond milk or oat milk for example)
- Not great value for money at the price point. Too expensive for what you get.
- - Breakfast was nice with local cheese but it would have been even better if there was some change of options every day, add boiled eggs, pancakes, etc. - A bit expensive

Very comfortable, great pool, great location, great view. Also very nice to be here with kids (aged 7&8), staff was very friendly
Beautiful setting overlooking the lake and ideal for our trip for 3 special occasions. Slight issue on arrival but were given a much better room than they had allocated but I think it was a system problem rather than anything else. Amazing pool area and restaurant both with lake views.
Although we knew beforehand, restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday evening outside French School Holiday season ( we were there following week) but would have been nice to have some bar snacks or light options available.
Friendly staff were kind, accommodating, and accepting or our dog, who was very stressed due to stormy weather. The owner of the hotel was not a fan (of the dog), but all the other statt were lovely.Limited menu, but the quality of the food was absolutely excellent.
Major road with tremendous traffic (hence bad air) spoils the walk to and from town.
Breakfast was of good quality and choice (salmon). The breakfast room was perfectly located with a view on the lake. Our room was nicely decorated, the toilet was separated from the spacious bathroom .The bedding was great; silky sheets and embroided pillow covers!
Really well located for touring the Vosges. Great local menu and well priced and good quality wine list. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was fine although we didn't really need it.Staff were so eager to please despite our French being so poor.Just a really nice and friendly small hotel.
We were in the annex...lovely room but at ground floor the hedge spoilt the view of the lake from the terrace. The terrace was also pretty unattractive. If we had been upstairs with a balcony it would have been perfect.
We were offered the apartment as an upgrade so that our family could be together instead of separate rooms
Location was good and the hotel is situated in a good area..... overall ambience was goodsome of the staff were extremely helpful
Breakfast was not up to the mark , plus there was sense of rigidness to help for any ask from our side.
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the pool water was warm.
The room size is small, the facility is not well maintained ( no light in steep stairs, lockers of the bathroom damaged, damages to the shower door seals, broken light in the bed light) the first room had a frank smell of sewer and was delivered as such, I had to protest to get an alternative. The breakfast was very basic for a four star facility, the restaurant is merely a cantine with a unique dish. You have the choice of liking it or go elsewhere. No child menu either. The pool facilities are basic and small, with no changing rooms, so when you are outside the main hotel it is very impractical. If there are 4 people it is fine, but if more use the pool at the same time, it is very crowded. There is an unpleasant smell in the main hotel, the reception layout is not really inviting. The parking spaces a scarce. The breakfast was mostly bread and the charcuterie we were served had passed its prime ( bad smell and awful taste).
A delightful hotel, we stayed in the junior suite which was beautifully furnished and a perfect view of the lake. Our stay was excellent.
Quite, perfect location, very good restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff
Location atmosphere - very nice and scenic!
Pool and sauna - and breakfast view!
Location, facilities, view, cleanliness
We did not like the fact that we were proposed a different room with the explanation that we do not have to pay for the difference, however at the check out we were asked 28 euros more. This is kind of a forced sale.
Breakfast
Bathroom, small shower and bath tube was a bit out of order.
Location & breakfast was fantastic, together with the charm of the building itself
The rooms were very poor. We changed from 1st to an alternative but both just spaces made in an attic which were not suitable for rooms - very low ceilings everywhere ( bed/toilet/bathroom) so could not stand up, no facilities to get ready (mirror/dressing table) Informed hotel was full so no other rooms available but from carpark & breakfast capacity it appeared at only around 25% capacity ?
We particularly liked the setting, and were pleased we'd decided to pay more for a room with a view of the lake. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed eating in the restaurant and on the terrace - again, the views were wonderful. The food was very good without being overly elaborate/expensive. Breakfasts were varied and tasty. Our bedroom was elegant - not huge, but with the balcony/view this wasn't an issue. Nice Clarins products were a bonus.
The only thing to note - not an issue with the hotel itself - is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice decoration and history, comfortable beds.
Everything was nice, great view, spa and breakfast included, all things needed for comfort of our stay
Majority of the stuff were great but sometimes we were not treated like guests, instead like some faulty kids, though we didn’t do anything wrong. Not a feeling you expect from such a hotel.Breakfast choice was ok, but not great at all
