Pros +
- A lovely small hotel in a great location just outside the centre of Garrucha and on the local bus route. The hotel is run by Sean and Beatrix who are very welcoming hosts. The room was very very good, spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a lovely small garden to the rear with a small swimming pool and tables to dine outside. Food was excellent. The price paid for bed and breakfast was very good value for money. We would certainly stay there again.

- Breakfast was good.
Cons -
- Nothing not to like
- I can't think of anything
- The shower had black mould stains around the shower tray. I am sure it was clean but it is an easy job to remove the stained sealant and reseal it. It would give a much better impression.

Lovely hotel, very clean, large suite, excellent shower, good bed, lovely breakfast in a courtyard pool area. Owners are very kind and welcoming as was the one other I met there. I went way out of my way to stay there and would gladly do it again. Also really appreciate all the advice I got for my mc trip.
A bit isolated but town is a short walk away
Excellent food. All the staff and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was toomuch trouble. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel was near to the centre and the beach. Good location.
The lighting in my room wasn't good enough to be able to read.
The welcome was great, we arrived early but left the car on the driveway to come back later. The room was very nice and the dinner excellent. Very comfortable and all staff friendly and welcoming.
I like everything, best in Garrucha, kind and professional stuff, amazing gourmet food in there restaurant and clean room.Highly recommend!!!
Everything 100%
The two room suite with air conditioning in both rooms was lovely, the staff, the paintings for sale throughout (we bought one!) The owners...all lovely. Both Bea and Sean were great helping me 'practicar mi espanol' ?The evening meal was superb and fairly & reasonably priced.Breakfast is buffet style, lovely to sit in the garden with a croissant and a coffee ? nice selection of fresh fruit, including banana grown in the garden! The location is perfect for a walk into the town centre, which is 2 streets up from the port, the beaches and the promenade area. The lift in the hotel was very welcome after a day on beach! Lovely place, lovely people.
The pool. It is advertised as a swimming pool, and it may have been some years ago, however it is now cracked all around the edge, dirty, green algae on the bottom from lack of cleaning, black algae near the admittedly very pretty fountain, and it appears to be a garden bird toilet and drinking hole - certainly not fit for this humans use ?The corkage charge. This is understandable - just - but cheeky. There is a lovely little wine shop owned by the hotel. They will sell you a bottle of wine from their shop to have with your meal, but there is a €6 corkage charge on top, so that €9.50 bottle is now €15.50.Wine is usually bought by commercial establishments and sold at a 200-300% markup, so to sell a wine to a client of the hotel and then charge for them to drink it in the same hotel to me is cheeky. Had I been to Mercadona and brought a €3.69 bottle in, I would understand it, but to profit on the wine, the room, the food AND an additional €6 corkage is beyond a joke.
Was made to feel very welcome by Sean and the staff. Very good selection of wine to accompany the excellent food in the restaurant.
A small Hotel with only few rooms in walking distance to the centre and the beach. The owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For breakfast it had a good continental breakfast. The food could be taken to the tables outside in the backyard by the swimming pool. The optional, dinner was excellent and the wine selection impressive.
Over the weekend the restaurant was closed for dinner
quirky, friendly , helpful and reasonable
shower flower a bit slippery, sorry
Sean and Beatrix was very warming snd professional . Always had time to smile and speak . The room was comfortable for a mid week break The restaurant served quality food We had a wonderful 3 nights Once again thankyou both
Only negative is would have liked a open balcony
Small, Spanish/American couple run the property. super friendly, very helpful. Always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable
absolutely nothing
with being at the top end of the price bracket it delivers comfort of the beds, air conditioning there if needed ,the cosy lounge area, sofas you sink in to … eating outside like a an oasis and peaceful , when full, laughter and chatter heard over a delicious food & wine …
suited me …,oh as a pool there just make sure you protect against mosquitoes…
Owners & staff always happy to help. Good location, nice garden area.
Our bedroom had no windows only sky windows. A very small balcony on lounge area, No view only of aircon units which noisy as all running (which it would be as July). Aircon unit inside drips water so left towel on floor. Swimming pool unable to use as water not great but owner tried to sort whilst we there. Lamp but no light bulbs.
Everything. The staff is very kind and friendly. The location is excellent. The gourmet food at the restaurant is fantastic.
Food, owners and wine, location next to beach.
There was nothing not to like.
great little Hotel, great service from Bea and Sean and their lovely staff. Beds are always comfy, breakfast, continental style is lovely sat in their garden, just a great place.
the only thing we could have done with was a little fridge for some cold water.
Sean and Beatriz we're lovely hosts ... Friendly and accommodating. The garden is really nice to sit in for breakfast. The restaurant is fabulous.
Breakfast was only a tostada....I would have liked the option of fresh fruit.
Blink, and you will miss this charming little oasis.Everything was so lovely and Sean and Beatriz went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms had everything we needed. The breakfasts were lovely. And, evening meal....wow! How come this stunning little secret doesn't have better ratings???We will definitely be back. Thank you so so much!
