    • The staff was nice and helpful. We liked the gardens and the property as a whole. It has a certain charm to it.

    Cons -

    • Galany appeared online as the best place to introduce my 9 year old daughter to horseback riding. When booking a 4 day stay, I submitted a request for a 4 day program for my daughter - after a few reminders I was sent a 30 min daily program.I should have realized right away that this place is not for my daughter. No time with the horse before or after the section - 3 different instructors. The people who worked there had zero zero zero interest in my daughter's development. As ambassadors for horseback riding, the gang who worked there were fantastically miserable. The concept is to sell 30 min sections for an overpriced 115 zl.
    • The number of flies in the restaurant isn't something you can just ignore. I wish I could say something positive about the burger I ordered but the meat was rather tough and the tomato tasted wrong. On top of that it was most likely reheated. It left a black mark on an otherwise pleasant stay.
    • You need to reserve your riding lessons or spot riding horses the day before, so take care about it in advance if you are interested.

Amazing place, super kid and family friendly. Staff were so helpful with all requests and organisation for my daughter to join a group horse ride. Room was just beautiful and the surrounding buildings and Palace were beautiful.

Our stay at Palac Galiny was exceptional. The amenities are perfectly oriented to people interested in learning and riding horses, or the ones who love them. We were not exactly the target audience but loved it all very well, kids were enjoying contact with horses a lot. Meals are tasty, breakfast is truly rich in everything, fresh seasonal vegetables including, rooms are very cozy and clean, showers strong and hot, gardens around a lush and nicely developed, and you get maps for the recommended walking and riding routs around the area at the reception. You can rent the bikes too. I can't think of a better calm stay, would love to come back there for more.

You need to reserve your riding lessons or spot riding horses the day before, so take care about it in advance if you are interested.

Beautiful place. If you love horses, this is the place. The palace rooms (not the main palace but the buildings adjacent to it) are quite charming.

The room walls are barely soundproof. You can hear your neighbor snore. It's not a big deal but rather a slight inconvenience.

    Very disappointing – rude attitude...

We booked a Comfort Double Room advertised as spacious (40 m²) with nice photos. On arrival, the hotel looked impressive, and we expected something special. The room we got was small, dark, with a tiny high window and a cheap bed – nothing like what was advertised. When we returned to the reception thinking there had been a mistake, we were met with arrogance and dismissal. Instead of checking or offering help, the receptionist said the photos were just “examples” and that “this is a palace.” Then he offered us another room – in the basement. There was no apology, no effort to fix the situation, just the message: take it or leave it. He charged us for the room and breakfast, even though we clearly said we wouldn’t stay. So we left and found another hotel. It’s not just about the room – it’s about how rude and unhelpful the attitude was. The hotel should not mislead customers with nice photos and false descriptions. And they should definitely learn how to treat guests with basic respect. Before booking, we didn’t read reviews from other guests with similar experiences at this hotel, because it was rated above 9.

The place is beautiful, and full of horses!! And what an amazinh breakfastLoved to stay here, and couldn't recommend more.

All was perfect, but having a courtain in the room to block the sun in the morning would have been good, but no harm done :).

Beautiful surroundings, a wonderfully restored palace and grounds positioned with rolling fields on one side and a national forest on the other. Breakfast is fabulous, lunches and dinners also exceptional, with fish, meat and cheese smoked on site daily (highly recommend the smoked trout dumplings and salad). Rooms are charming and spacious, staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

a lot of great facilities and things to do. Horse riding available great. it's not easy to find the trainers though except for that one time during the evening where you sign up.

i had to ask on more then one occasion for the room to be cleaned.

Loved the setting, room was beautiful, food was very good.

There were lots of flies in the restaurant (with do many horses, not surprising, but there seemed to be no measures to control them. The curtains in the bedroom were too narrow and too thin, we woke up at the crack of dawn.

Amazing stay in a former palace. Staff were all super kind and the food, especially the breakfast, was exceptional - can highly recommend! Sad we only stayed for 1 night.

It overcame our expectations in every single aspect. It’s not just a hotel in the old castle - it’s a huge resort with a good restaurant, horses, lakes outside, playgrounds, beautiful views and even a small plane.

Incredibly great place with a lot of attractions. The territory is huge. Great hiking around. Excellent food at the restaurant. Rooms are clean and huge.

It was noisy at the room a little bit because of refrigerator or something like this.
