- The owners were a little disinterested and fairly unhelpful. I wanted to try to arrange transport for the following morning and the response was that I should Google it or go outside and hitchhike. I’m fairly independent but was hoping for some local knowledge or maybe a taxi booking but I got the impression that I was asking for something ridiculous. There was no smiling or friendliness which was a pity when I was travelling alone.

The location is good because it's close to the wonderful Fangu river.The hotel pool is nice too and there's a pretty view on the surrounding mountains.Plus the staff is very welcoming and helpful.It's fairly cheap so good value overall.

The pool was very nice, especially when our car broke down and we couldn't move around. The view of the mountains all around was magnificent. The landlady and the stuff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a remote location, but there are nice restaurants 1.5 - 4.0 km away.
Air conditioning would be a great improvement, and a fridge in the room would be very helpful. Luckily, the landlady kindly offered to freeze our ice-packs, which was helpful.
