Hotel Restaurant Le Filosorma

The hotel is excellently placed at the edge of the beach which you reach by a staircase. Views are spectacular! And the staff is super welcoming and friendly.Would definitely stay there again!?

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Galeria, Corsica! The location right on the seaside was just breathtaking. The restaurant cooking a delicious wood-fired pizza, I advise everyone to try it! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they were especially welcoming to my dog, which made the experience even more special. In some review, I read that you need to choose the 2nd floor, there is a balcony with a glass fence, which makes the view even more stunning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were no rooms available on the 2nd floor. But the very friendly staff agreed to move us the next day. For which I thank them very much! The room is quite simple, there is a small refrigerator, air conditioning. There wasn't much room in the room, as we had an extra sofa set up all the time, where my son was sleeping. But on the other hand, there is a fairly spacious balcony with a table and chairs and an absolutely stunning view of the sea and the restaurant below. I'll miss him for a long time.

For some reason, there was no soap in the room. We were given a lot of shampoos in return. But we immediately bought it ourselves at the nearest store. In the shower, the design suffers a little, water constantly accumulates on the floor, since there is no protective curtain or slope for water. There are also cute night lights on long cords next to the beds. But my husband was always banging his head against it. But these are all small things.

Nice hotel, definitely worth it’s price. The view is amazing! The location is perfect if you seek some quiet place, still with a lot of restaurants around. If I understand well - it’s owned and/or managed by the Italian family, so the staff is super nice and welcoming and the pizza in the restaurant is great ?

A bit of renovation is still needed:1) The sofa in the the room was old and not in a good condition2) The ceiling at the balcony definitely needs to be repainted

Disapointing

We were not able to reach the hotel due to a hige thunderstorm as we were biking. We tried to contact the owner several times by phone and message to find a solution and noone replied. The following day we were able to speak with her and very unpolitely replied she could not no anything (refund, change days) even though it was low season.Very disaponted with the customer service

Not recommended

We booked a double bedroom but they gave us an apartment, which was not renovated, completely different from the bedroom we booked (and saw on Booking) and dirty. They said they had an issue with one of their bedrooms and until they fix it they were/are used to give that apartment to the guests that stay in the hotels less nights. After we complained several times, they gave us the cost of two breakfasts back (17 EUR).

great location for quieter part in corsica. Galeria was fantastic for a swim in the sea outside the hotel. Reception staff very helpful.

Perfect location right on the beach. Room renovated with large terrace overlooking the sea. Convenient on site restaurant

tiny rooms, no food an the room

Rating is based on the view and the friendly greeting of the person on reception. An additional duvet was supplied on request so we could leave the patio door open overnight and listen to sound of the waves breaking on the beach below. The room was clean and furnished functionally, with a cosy bed, cosy sofa, desk and chair. There were also chairs on the balcony. The drive from Calvi to Piana is stunning and this is a good stopover location.

Good to have a toilet separate from the shower room but an extractor in the toilet would be an improvement given there is no window.

Though older building, nicely designed rooms...

Incheck in closed between 1 and 4. This is not indicated at the reception desk, All phone numbers are not answered. So: confusions which can easily avoided. But the real disappointment was that at 4 somebody showed up who made, visible for two waiting couples, a 20 minute phonecall in stand of handing the keys in 20 seconds...... This was really annoying and spoiled our stay.Furhtermore: the hotel is in the middle of nothing. Nice if you look for that, otherwise bouring....

reception: arrived at 18:45 and the room was still not readyreceptionist: unfriendlyessentials missing - no soap in the showernoise: party in the bar/restaurant till 1am. Noice heard from the second floor and with closed balcony so loud that I could not sleep.

Good location with a nice restaurant. Very helpful staff. We enjoyed snorkeling in the beaces and paddling with a canoe in the delta area.

The smoke from the pizza oven reached our 1st floor room every day. There was also noise from the corridors and the street.

very nice view of the sea from the balcony. extreme proximity to the beach a huge plus.

maybe some refurbishment is necessary and internet was slow

Great staff, good vibes. Infribt of the beach. Close to Fango river where you can enjoy a fantastic experience with the kayak fully immersed in the nature.

located in a nice calm village. all rooms have sea view.good retaurant and bar in the facilities. the village also has a great vegetarian restaurant by the old tower. must try at sunset.

The hotel looks recently renovated, the staff is very kind and the beach is just in front of the hotel. Our room had a great view on the bay!

The last night we had a bed bugs attack; I didn’t sleep all night, and my son is covered with spots. The answer the following day was “I am sorry for you,” … assuming that we came with the bugs who lived behind the bedhead. Bugs that were nearly 1 cm big. I didn’t appreciate how this was managed.
