Hotel Galera

I arrived at the hotel during a massive power outage in Spain, after having made a last minute booking. In spite of all internet and power being out, the hotel was able to accommodate my stay, and even provided a really lovely dinner over candlelight. The staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. The room comfortable and clean and quite charming... really absolutely there was nothing I could fault. Total gem of a place, very happy to recommend!

Everything about this hotel is excellent, the friendly staff, immaculate clean rooms. Would highly recommend this hotel in the beautiful village of Galera.

Friendly hotel. We came for a weekend. It turned unseasonably cold and we were impressed that the radiators were switched on without asking. Good views from all rooms and friendly staff. Nice place.

The restaurant needs a bit of a rethink. Could be good home produce provider but is trying to go gourmet. OK but not to come back to.

Breakfast was lovely, the room was spotless and the bed very clean and comfortable. Daniel was very helpful and pleasant.Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice.

The bathroom was very clean, but access was difficult for people with bad hips and knees.

Beautiful hotel, although you can hear everything that goes on in the hotel!Coffee making facilities would be a bonus and breakfast was very stop start. Lovely food though and perfect location.

In the centre of a beautiful village with ample parking. Rural hotel well maintained. Room was big with a terrace looking out over the village and countryside.

Friendliness of staff and the local people. Large bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and a bath.

It's a 2 star which means there's no real facilities in your room. It's not a problem but flagging so you bring water for if the bar is closed (the days after 3 King's for example).

Comfortable bed, clean and pretty location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It seems we were the only guests unfortunately when we got up in the morning no hot water for a shower none available noone to ask.All night continuous water sounds we think from radiator. My wife had to have earphones in to be able to sleep.No breakfast available next morning.

Everything was fine. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. I ate midday meal there and it was abundant and delicious. Breakfast was also good being the continental type I am used to. My room was large and very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the balcony was large with great views. I would stay here again if the occasion presented. There is also a very large well maintained swimming pool but I did not use it. Also the AC worked very well which was a blessing.

I did not find anything that I did not like about the facilities or staff while I was there.
