We had a wonderful stay with our family and friends, we enjoyed it. I can't fault anything. From the professional staff, the delicious food, the helpful approach, to the hotel facilities and wellness - everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

Cleanliness, food and spa

The food was absolutely under expectations from an Italian resort, one particular waiter in the restaurant was acting strange, loud and rude. The bed was extremely (!!!) uncomfortable- so soft you would simply sink and hope to get out of it somehow. Every morning waking up with back pains is not ideal on a ski vacation. Not too much invested in the noise isolation- you could hear everybody from the other rooms or from the hall way. Also the music from the restaurant was some nights too loud although I guess they are very much aware that in the rooms people are disturbed. All in all I would definitely not try returning.

Price. You had disco party every night and my floor was shaking. No heating during the night. Super crowded at breakfast.

The Rate Ferien & Wellnesshotel Windschar is a very charming and comfortable hotel, with huge welcoming rooms, exceptional cleanliness and all sorts of wellness services, from spa, to massages, sauna, and pool. There is even a whole museum with the hotel's history and collectibles in the underground passage connecting the two buildings. However, the most intriguing part was their kitchen/restaurant. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal, with dozens of options for any diet, including gluten-free and vegan options. The 5-course dinner was even better, with their intricate fine cuisine focused on regional cuisine. There was not a single dish we disliked during our one-week stay, the food was just magnificent! The best we ever had in any hotel so far.Moreover, their leisure spaces are very cozy and sophisticated, such as the tee corner or even the lounge areas. We had no issues finding parking, so that's a plus too. Overall, our experience was very positive!

The sauna was closed every time we visited, and the pool heating was not working as it should, since the water was quite cold. Also, the waiters were a bit selective, usually prioritizing guests who ordered more drinks and checked on them more often. We didn't even get our "welcoming drink" for some reason.

Top hotel with a great SPA area. The food was very, very good indeed and made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were super friendly and on two evenings we were treated to live music Excellent!! The cocktails were excellent too. Great location just outside of Bruneck

The only point we could find was that the hotel name could be a bit easier to find … there are 2 buildings linked together and we were just a little confused where to go. Once you know where everything is it’s no problem.

Unfortunately our room was in 3rd floor and elevator was not working so we had to carry the bags upstairs.

Perfect hotel, the wellness place is the best, the location is great, the staff explain all the things we can do around the place, breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful view through our windows. .

A great hotel, we took a delux room that was big, but cozy and warm. Plenty of facilities, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean, well lit, looks great.

Location is not so quite, shower water stream is not strong enough.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, food was excellent and diverse. Spacious parking. In short, very satisfied. Special thanks to Giulio and Paul.

There could be a few more spaces in the room for the bulky skiing clothes/gear, maybe a few handy hanging hooks or shelves.

Great staff, very nice food

Noise in the rooms- from your room with doors closed you can hear people in other bathrooms, people talking at the corridor - we were woken up several times- very unpleasant. We asked for rooms close to each other - we were at different buildings.

Very nice hotel, beautiful location. Very good and various breakfast and dinner. There is indoor and outdoor pool. The stuff is very nice and helpful.

The service flawless. I really liked the small events (guided walks, wine degustations ecc.) which they organized every day. They offer a van that takes you to the ski resort every day. The food (breakfast and dinner) was the best hotel food we ever had. Also, they have a nice wine list with a lot of choice for good prices.

The first room we got was small and with a really old bathroom but after we complained they moved us to a better room.
