Hotel Giessenbach

Hotel in a beautiful setting, check in was quick, we got a room upgrade to a beautiful apartment with a view of the mountains, breakfast was excellent, the lady at the reception was very nice.I recommend the hotel!!

Clean, Comfortable, friendly staff, good restaurant. Good value for the price in Zillertal. Good breakfast.

Only thing I would say is you need a car or take a bus or the Zillertal Bahn to do anything away from the hotel. Walking is not really possible.

We had 5 nights staying in the hotel and overall it was a really relaxed and friendly stay. Claudia and Walter were the hosts and were really welcoming. It did help that every time you popped to the reception they gave you a warming schnapps!Location was very good, easy access to the local trains that took us to the Kaltenbach ski lifts, much easier in our opinion than the ski bus.Big highlight was the sauna area. A very chilled area with relaxed seating, a large sauna and a very steamy steam room! complimentary teas also really helped the vibe.Rooms were all a very good size, bed was super comfy and all rooms had a fridge even if you were not in the apartment style.Breakfast was very good too, lots of healthy options as well as eggs cooked to order and however you wanted them.Highly recommend this hotel, overall a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back.Danke!

Would have liked a kettle in our non kitchenette apartment room.

Rene, the host, was very friendly, as a solo traveller I didn’t feel uncomfortable once. A warm welcome and friendly face. The room was big and clean and the bed very comfortable.

Booked it only for one night, to ski @HintertuxWe were two friends, and I believe we got a room update , which was absolutely amazing as we could both have separate room.Everything’s was super clean, nice breakfast.The highlight is definitely the sauna where we relaxed after day of skiing ( it’s not included in price , but I like that it is separated , because then the rooms stay very affordable)The stuff was very nice and welcoming .We need to come back and explore the dinner options and bar ?

Modern style, friendly staff, good clean room and bathroom, great breakfast.

Although it was mentioned that the restaurant would be open ( was in big letters also mentioned on the windows ) it was not available. This was a deception for us after 10 hours drive. Reason for the closing of the restaurant wat not mentioned even not asking it to several staff members!

Appartment has very high standard and it's very spacious. Balcony was very big and with beautiful flowers. Also the breakfast was very tasty and we liked it.

Hotel is located next to the very busy street. Windows are blocking the noise totally, this is true, but when you are on the balcony it is very loud, so it's hard to enjoy the mountains around. Also, when we booked the flat there was no information on booking.com that there will be additional 50 EUR charge for cleaning the kitchen. We received this information after booking only.

It was a great stay on our way to Italy! Apartment was very clean and cozy. The hotel is located very close to a picturesque bicycle path. Everything was perfect!

The hotel has a location near a highway so it have easy access, and you could not hear the highway when windows was closed. The view from our room was so great, we had a top apartment with a big balcony so a great view at the mountains. The staff was kind and helpful at both checkin and when we had breakfast in the morning and the morning breakfast was good. Overall it was value for money

We booking a night for to persons in this hotel, when we arrive i was surprise that they have a Suite for us, only a couple, i loved the place, the rooms, the balcony, very cozy hotel, and the employes very polite and very atentive, im sure that we will come back again to this hotel.PS: Breakfast 5 ✨️

Stayed only 1 night while travelling back home. Very convenient location close to the highway, spacious and comfortable apartment with balcony. Highly recommended.

Almost everything was fine, except one

One thing , we contact the hotel before we arrive , to check in little early , they got no attention for that , open for check in at 3 pm , if they can adopt a self check in system that would be better for all who want to book this property

The location is on the outskirts of Fügen by the highway - so nothing for a hiker. Probably a good choice for drivers. However, you will hear the traffic noise.

Superb rooms. Spacious, clean and well equipped kitchen. Excellent value for money.We travelled in June and the view was fantastic from the rooms. It’s located right on the highway.

Reception closes doors early. We reached by 9.30pm and had to use the back entrance
