Hotel Edelweiss

We loved staying at this charming family run hotel. Our hosts were welcoming with a tea and coffee and helpful with suggestions for exploring the area. We went to the festival when the cows come down for winter and took some beautiful walks. Both nights we had a delicious dinner at the hotel and a traditional breakfast was included in our stay. The room was very comfortable, we had a balcony with a view of the town and surrounding hillsides. I would definitely recommend this delightfully traditional hotel.

The view, the balcony, the large room. Top notch food at fair prices. We not only had breakfast but ate dinner there all 3 nights we stayed because it was that good.

I would have liked an electric kettle to have coffee on the balcony.

Owner and staff were all nice to me, being a senior, Asian American. Breakfast was buffet style with made to order eggs and bacon. Mountain view from balcony is big plus, it was clean and food was delicious. English is well spoken. It was a second stay at this hotel and will return again.

Thomas was a great host, from check in to being our server in the delicious restaurant! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was so much better than I was expecting and I was completely charmed by the staff and room. We just needed a place to stay overnight that was close to the train station as we were visiting a local festival in the morning and visiting the spa in town in the afternoon, but this hotel completely surpassed my expectations. The employees were really nice and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was also very good and well-priced. The room had a large balcony with a beautiful view and was full of lovely wooden furniture. If we come to Fugen again, we'll definitely stay here.

Convenient location from which to explore the Zillertal and mountains. Clean rooms with recently refurbished ensuite bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Terrace restaurant offered extensive menu. Breakfast eggs cooked to order.

Hotel cancelled our reservation on booking.com and said we did not show up, however, we were there and we spoken to their staff and we enjoyed their breakfast, so I did not understand that action.

I was a perfect location to go skiing in the Zillertal. The room was good. The staff was very friendly and they served a very good meal. At breakfast you could choose from 3 different menu's and we really enjoyed it. Nice place to go back to.

In bed the pillows were too soft. It took me a night to get used to it. I'm a pretty tall guy and in the shower I could not stand up straight under the shower head. I think this was just in our room because of the sloping roof.

We really enjoyed our stay in this place, location is pretty good, you are close to everything, the staff was exceptional all the time and the food was also very good, especially the dinners!! We loved they had a presents for my daughter at the check out!! 100% recommended ??
