Hotel Malerhaus

Vacations in this location exceed our expectations every time.Everything was wonderful.Large, clean and comfortable room, excellent SPA, great food and very friendly and helpful staff.It was definitely not our last visit here.

We had an amazing stay at Malerhaus during new year’s and my girlfriends birthday. We actually stayed a night extra to be able to enjoy our holiday just a bit longer.The hotel was fully booked and the staff was busy, but they did an amazing job, were kind and always helpful.For us it has been one of the best weeks in Zillertal we’ve had, and we’ve been there 17(me)and 23(girlfriend) times now.The half board was amazing. Lots of breakfast options and dinner was very good too. On the 31th we had a great evening where the staff prepared a gala dinner, made the terrace cosy and set off fireworks.The wellness at the top floor was the best. We loved it so much being able to warm up after a snowy day in the pool with a beautiful view of the mountains or in one of the saunas. I also had a great massage.The room was very spacious and comfortable.The location is also very convenient if, like us, you want to spend your days snowboarding in the different areas. The hotel is right on the main road.We will definitely come back.

For me personally, the bed was a bit too hard. I know that is a personal preference, but it did make me wake up not fully rested.

Wonderful Hotel in a convenient location.We chose half board and breakfast and dinner was delicious. The Wellness area was clean and quiet and we loved watching the sun set from the outdoor infinity pool on the 5th floor!! I have also used the fitness area which has everything you may need for a work out.

We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Malerhaus so much. It was wonderful to go up to the pool, relax on the room balcony and chill in the tv room. We made use of the large fitness suite and the sauna with incredible views. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful whenever we needed.

The noise from the road at night with the windows open was a lot but the room was too hot. - a fan or aircon would help so much.

We loved the wellness area. (warm outdoors swimming pool) . Breakfast had plenty of choices. The pizzeria attached to the restaurant is very good and more relaxed than the restaurant.

We would have preferred to have glasses with a bottle of water (even tap water) and some welcome chocolate in the room instead of a welcome drink . No complementary hygiene product. No instruction for the safe box.

Very Kind and profesionalstuff, we were late at night, after long trip, kitchen was closed, but chef opened kitchen and cooked to us food. We were very happy, they gave to us very beautifull room with the view to the garden and terrase, restaurant with excelent food! Spa area very clean, outside pool warm! Thank you.

Good position right next to railway station and main road but still quiet

The wellness area was amazing and very relaxing. The masssage lady Maria was so nice and talented. The mountain views were outstanding. The room was tidy and large.

The staff did barely speak english and many instructions/manuals for the room was only in german. The breakfast was very plain and often the coffee machine did not work. The basement with gym and game room was smelling old and needed to be shined up.

all was very good , very nice breakfast the dinner was very good gym was great the best was the roof top pool, staff very friendly and the location for the train and town very good we had a very nice relaxing 2 days stay , the small train is very nice and there is even a steam train

the ceiling in our room had not slightly repair, but really nothing to stress about

The food, the cleanliness.

The fact that we had to go to the sauna nude, it was very far from the ski slope, the room was nothing like the pictures.

Food optios very limited - for breakfast there were few or no vegetables. Also everything was just too heavy for dinnerThe SPA area was not really maintained - no glasses for water or towels or even soap after a few hoursLocation was easily accesible but loud from the main street

Very nice pool, saunas and welness area. Good location. Food was okay.

Booking doesn’t mention that welness is open only 3-8 pm. No one in the hotel speaks good english, not even on the reception. At dinner waiters speak to you german even tho they know you don’t understand which I find kind of rude and unprofesional. There is no menu in english available so when choosing meals for dinner you have to use Google translater. Also food in the buffet during breakfast and dinner is not sign so basically you don’t know what you are eating - this could be problem for people with food alergies. There are no gluten free or lactose free options. Breakfast is avarage, dinner is fine. There is really loud street in front of the hotel so if you are light sleepers I recommend to choose different hotel.

Although this hotel doesn't have the facilities of one of the bigger tourist hotels it was in a very good position for catching the ski bus and train to all the ski resorts in the Ziller valley. It is situated just opposite the train station where the ski buses depart and very handy for the little train that goes as far as Myrhoffen. When I used it the ski buses at Zell and Hippach seem to be timed to depart a few minutes after the train arrives - perfect. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the food is good and very filling! It was very quiet when I was there.

Nothing. The terrace at the top of the hotel was being refurbished so I couldn't use it but I'm sure when its finished it will be lovely.

Good location for skiing. Good food.

Breakfast in the morning could begin a bit earlier (for early skiers)

Overall this hotel is good in my opinion, the location is great for Zillertal adventures and you can get on the main road in no time. We didn't have problem with road noise because our room was facing the other way.The breakfast is great in my opinion, it has everything you need and they even have a fresh juice machine where you can make your own apple or carrot juice. The staff is very nice as well and the reception even helped us book a rafting tour since the company we wanted to book the rafting to was speaking only German. Overall a good hotel if you're looking to explore Zillertal.

We had to ask for soaps a few times since the house-keeping did not fill them even though we stayed there for 10 nights.

For a short staying was ok. Room was clean, staff was friendly.
