Cons -
- Very unpleasant reception staff, especially Mr. who received usUncommunicative and very cold. Not so the rest of the staff, both restoration and cleaning, good professionals.
- There's gonna be 3 parts here:1. The intendant.I arrived by bike at 3pm (as communicated before arrival) and no one was there. So I had to call a lady for her to inform the intendant to come. The guy arrives, barely says hi, opens the doors, sees that I'm with my bike and doesn't even look at me in order to help and goes to sit at the desk. He then does the check-in in the most minimalist way and doesn't show me to my room or try to help with anything. Remember we are talking about a 4 star hotel... And at checkout, same stuff, doesn't ask how my stay went, and didn't even look at me when I gave him room for his car on the road with my bike... Either in a massive depression, or a giant prick.2. The hotel itself. If you are looking for calm and peace, this is the right place, as the hotel is 1,5km away from the village. As I came during the winter, the hotel restaurant was closed which left me with the option of going to town to eat somewhere and come back at night with little light on the road, or go to the supermarket in the afternoon grab something for dinner, with a microwave as only consolation in the hotel. Furthermore, as everything is closed during the winter, the spa was closed too, and the pool as well, this was a bummer.3. The equipment. The room was nice and tidy but things could have easily been better. There was only 1 towel for the shower (the 2 star hotel I just left had 2), the minibar was ridiculously empty (and made a lots of noise during the night), and the bed sheet surrounding the bed frame had stains that didn't go away from washing them it seems.

Everything
Pool, room cleanliness, breakfast included with gluten free option.
Terrace to room overrun by olive tree. Nuclear plant down river.
Rather not comment
Location should have stated that it was on a steep mountain/hill, not ideal if you are senior.Lack of bar & restaurant even though covid has been eradicated for at least 12months. Coffee bar didn’t have coffee /tea facilities when ask was told there was pods there(only 1).The smell in the corridors to the rooms very unpleasant . The breakfast staff were pleasant and amiable unlike the male receptionist.
Comfortable bed , lovely staff, air con very good, room with patio view of pool.good coffee
Road access to . narrow with blind corners initial receptiom guy seemed offish..
quiet, covered parking for motorcycle,
rain
quite place, nice surroundings
no evening meal on offer
Location was perfect, very quiet
The breakfast could of been better, lacking selection , the male reception wasn’t very inviting, he didn’t smile once. And the bad smell walking to the room
We loved the view and the breakfast was really good
The receptionist could have been more friendly.
Good breakfast.
Perhaps the offer of more coffee would have been nice at breakfast. The receptionist seemed rather unfriendly. With a hard, penetrating stare. But he thawed out eventually. The bar and restaurant were closed throughout our stay. The minibar was not topped up on one day, so we had no water.
The bed was comfy
Receptionist was hard work at check inBreakfast was very minimal, although the coffee was nice Location in the middle of no where
clean
Grumpy staff, tired decor. no evening food…
Large room with balcony. Quiet. Pleasant location out in the countryside. Secure overnight place for bicycles not a problem.
Air-conditioning in original room not working - then given room (with working air conditioning) with view onto side of large marquee erected in grounds. No restaurant (in fairness the information doesn't say there is - but there was when we stayed here some years previously) and it's quite long way out (to cycle) back into Flix. Breakfast felt a little as if it was being rationed out.
Location is quiet and picturesque.
Reception only manned about 2 hours a day, given your own front door key to get in and out. The room was tatty and dated. The bath/shower fittings were rusty and did not function as they should. The balcony was covered in an overgrown olive tree and never swept. Ants in the room on several occasions. No bar, restaurant shut down years ago. The gym had 3 pieces of equipment and the spa was not ever open or offered, and was in a terrible state when we looked at it. Oh and be prepared for school groups that obviously keep the hotel running as there is no-one else there (noisy). Sadly not a 4* anymore.
