Pros +
- This will be my #1 choice when traveling from Stockholm to the south. Had an absolutely solid experience: clean room of a decent size, no unwanted sounds - properly quiet, blackout curtains on large windows, so I had fantastic sleep. Absolutely smooth experience in all interactions with staff. All of that already deserves 10, but then there was a restaurant! The first thing you'll notice in the restaurant is that there are suspiciously many locals there, even though the hotel is quite remotely located. Then, after you get the food you ordered, you understand why: the food is absolutely fantastic. Literally, I was (and still is) sorry that I don't live somewhere nearby to visit the restaurant frequently. A true gem ruled by a true Master! I'm very thankful for the great supper I had there.
- Fantastic all around.
- Just stunning location, wonderful rooms and the food amazing
Cons -
- Maybe the bathroom+toilet of my room could appreciate a bit more attention of cleaners (but nothing serious).
- Breakfast didnt open until 8am (on a Saturday), which is quite late when your toddler is ready to tackle the day at 6am.
- We stayed on saturday, and the saturday breakfast started in 8:00, which is late for a family with a small child. (and I guess for everyone) On 8:00 we we allowed to enter the restaurant but the food was not ready. We had to wait for 10 mins to get some hot food in the buffet. There were few tables and only one stuff member who was cooking, serving and making coffee. Obviously we had to wait to get our coffee. I also have to mention that there is no oat milk in the restaurant. The food was ok, but could be better. And no croissants or muffins (our child was upset). After a fantastic night we were upset with the level of the breakfast

The room was just amazing, was clean and stylish. the bed is wide and just perfect. the glass wall makes you feel like sleeping in the nature. One of the most comfortable rooms I‘ve ever slept in

Beautiful situated , beautiful bathroom with separate toilet. Nice view , very quiet
Perfect place, cosy rooms, nice nature around, super view
We would highly appreciate to have a cattle to prepare coffee and tea in the room
Location was ok.
Be careful when you eat in the restaurant. You receive a bill with no detail. At home we noticed that more than 10 euro was added. When we asked the hotel why they told us we have given a tip.We never spoke about a tip. This is really not correct. They asked our bank details to return the money but we never received any payment.
Wonderful North German hospitality
Quite a few light elements (TV, light switches, detectors etc) are on during the night, makes a sub optimal sleep.
An excellent hotel in a spectacular setting. Big rooms with patio (incl. Strandkorb!), all very comfortable, with charming extras not usual in German hotels (free bottle of water, free tea and coffee making facilities). VERY dog friendly (but I forgot my dogs as it was a business stay). Breakfast more than decent, though not quite top notch. Restaunant pricey but very high quality and surprisingly large portions. I will be back.
to get to the hotel you need to cycle up a steep hill. EVERY time ;)
Nice rooms, nice restaurant. Breakfast was good. In booking.com there is no option but you can pay for breakfast.+We eat a dinner there too I would also suggest that. It was a nice evening atmosphere with tasty little bit salty foods.
Outstanding hotel rooms with a fantastic view and good service from the staff. The restaurant is serving really delicious food to a fair price.
The hotel is located in the nature. It is actually inside a park. good sightseeing, fresh air , with walking route in the nature. The room was super cozy, and staff were really friendly and provide good service. The room has a lot of things and very big.
It is not in a city centre, so if you want to do grocery or go to restaurants or shopping, it will take some time to drive.
Lloved it. Beautiful place.
We came late and couldn t find the key box att firrst. They could have explained more in detail
Location, views and restaurant
The distance from parking till rooms
Gorgeous vast views. There’s a tall tower with a viewing platform which gives even better views. Excellent restaurant.
Fabulous location, very quiet and dark (great for sky watching) Very modern and sympathetic to environment, plenty of space to relax. Full wall windows and external area with seating was great. Nice bar and stunning restaurant. The observation tower is quirky and good for your step count!
The walk from the car park to rooms is either via many, many external steps (no path to pull a wheeled suitcase/wheelchair) Bad enough in good weather but I would imagine miserable and/or dangerous if it was raining/snowing/icy. Bar and restaurant were closed quite early - 8.30pm ish.
We booked the hotel rather quickly as we needed to be in the area for a few days and there weren't many hotels available. However, we are so glad we booked this hotel. It is lovely! The architecture is great, the room was very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable! Our flight was delayed and we were very late arriving. They have lock boxes set up so we were able to get into the room. We were not around for dinner, but next time we are in the area we will definitely try it.
I can't think of anything other than we should make an effort to take more advantage of the surroundings.
Big room.Free parking.Nice area for walking and biking.Excellent restaurant.
All good really. Could have included a fridge in the room.
Great rooms, excellent restaurant and service
Beautiful surroundings. Quiet and calm. Perfect if you travel with dogs. Excellent food in the restaurant.
