Hotel La Martinica

The hotel was clean and staff were amazing, everyone from front office to restaurant, to cleaning. Easy access to transportation, including drive to train station. No exceptions! Our room had a great view of the Sea.

The location, being close to Palermo, was good BUT it was not convenient if I wanted to walk anywhere, which I love to do! Hotel was very clean, while area around the hotel was VERY trashy.

Cafe Bar was great for anytime snack, coffee, gelato, has a small convenient mini mart. Swimming pool was a nice size. Access to the ocean water from the hotel.

Food in the restaurant was delicious.And staff was very friendly.

WiFi in the hotel is not stable. We encountered connection problems frequently.Walls are so thin. You can hear the whole conversation from the next room.Location is far away from city center. No public transportation.

The room and staff were very good

A part from the room, nothing else is open until June 1st which is not mentioned at all. No pool, sun terrace and beds are none existent. Why did we pay for amount we did when the facilities are not there!!!

Very well equipped. Room was large and overlooked Palermo and sea. Staff are great and very attentive. Food was fabulous. Great location to stay when coming off the Genoa ferry.

Breakfast could be more continental but Italians love their cake in the morning. 15 euros per small dog is expensive.

Clean room, with beautiful sea view. Dog friendly, at the restaurant we had a great hosting together with the dog. Highly recommended.

Room size is great. Beds are comfortable and bedroom had all we needed. Our room had a sea view balcony, which was a plus. Breakfast was fair and there was always a parking spot available for us. Staff is very friendly.

Location is not the best one. And we've booked this hotel with hope to use the pool, which was closed for the week we were in. The restaurant of the hotel is acceptable, but will never be a first choice.

One night stop en route to Palermo Ferry Port. Modern, clean seaside hotel with all facilities (including secure parking for our motorbikes) and a very good restaurant / pizzeria.

Location next to the beach and the pool were really nice. Special views.

The breakfast room on the lower floor was not great no windows and the breakfast was poor.

It was fine but catered more for the italian.

The hot sausage scrambled egg and bacon were cold could have been hotter. Could leave a small jug of cold milk for the cearal.

Evening Restaurant and the fresh food were perfect, no comments, met all our expectations. Hotel modern.

The reception staff was rude (or i could say no compromise was looked for), we came late, tired and we only had ten minutes to use the pool and approximately 1 hour to be in the beach. We thought that we could go the next day until check out time, but unfortunately we were asked to pay for the facilities we hadn't used the first day or i could say we used it just for a couple of minutes, we tried to use at least something , because no permission was granted for the other day, I would say that was very disappointing and very unprofessional. The room was not very well cleaned, the beach was full of rubbish the breakfast for example - scrambled egg was cold with small variety. Sorry but high price with low standards. Btw about water in the room, you need to pay for 1 bottle, we found 2 that means 1 is complimentary, but no information provided. The hotel is far from public transport.

The property was good very clean. Only problem was we had to change our room in the middle of the night because the air conditioner was giving up bad smell. The breakfast was not that great not too many options but the rooms were clean and bathrooms were clean and decent. The concierge told us that the pool will close at 7 PM. However, the lifeguard or pool guard was making us leave at 6 PM which was a bit unacceptable. The location of the resort was far from the city..

Aircon worked which is amazing for Sicily

My wife was verbally, physically and sexually assaulted by the pool attendant after just surviving cancer. No apology or intervention from management........ definitely avoid at all costs

I loooooved the staff. It was all local and family owned. They went above and beyond meeting our needs. My husband has celiacs and they made sure he had access to plenty of gluten free options beyond their typical pizza and pasta. The food was absolutely phenomenal.

More pool time. It closed at 7. They should guest untilize it until 10 without outside guest. I didn’t like having having to share the pool with locals. I don’t mind. But please let me have alone time in the pool. Especially a night swim!

Big and clean room, free two bottles of water, nice pool and restaurante. Great experience.,

The hotel itself was fantastic in a fabulous location. Clean and well maintained. Good snack bar and restaurant Helpful staff and great room

The noise in the evening.Thursday was a disco on till 12 amAnd Friday till 1 amMy 12,year old son couldn’t sleep Not what we expected.

Pool was really nice.

Breakfast was not great. Beds were very hard.

Everything was perfect. Loved the views, the sunset was amazing. Food was first class. Receptionists were so helpful and friendly.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly 10/10, but the function staff couldn’t be bothered to say as much as good morning. They need to take a leaf out of the book as the receptionists!!!
