Pros +
- There is nothing to like, is a dump
- very close to the motorway which was lucky because it was snowing heavily when we arrived. A good area of grass to walk the dogs. We had a good dinner.
- Room was as you'd expect, functional but not plush. Comfortable enough for its size.
Cons -
- Everything was awfull
- The rooms are tiny and functional. No working extractor fan in the bathroom. No space to move with two dogs in the room with us.
- There was a problem with the plumbing, so the toilet was very slow to empty.

Quite a good location when you’re travelling. But the identity of the hotel needs to reconcile the price. It is too expensive for what it is.
We have visited this hotel many times but find the manager does not meet his clients where they are and wants the hotel to be something that it’s not. At Halloween there were spiders spread about the breakfast- a nice idea to celebrate Halloween but not very appetising. The manager reaching over the breakfast arrangements in his sweaty cycling gear is also not very pleasant. The price has gone up and does not reflect what the hotel truly us and- which is a very good overnight basic stay.
Good location for our trip home, good value for money but the breakfast was too expensive for our budget.
No instructions for the shutters, not much choice for drinks in the room, paper cups, why not glass as they can be washed. The restaurant was not in use in the evening
Such good value. A basic motel but very clean and comfortable.Perfect overnight stay to break the journey back to Calais from the alps.
Rooms are small. Basic restaurant at the weekend but suited us fine. McDonalds is literally next door if you wanted that instead
The Lady on reception on the Sunday night was so helpful as we needed a meal having travelled for 9 hoursThe meal was just what we needed
The bath plug in room 38 did not fit so no bath was possible
Breakfast was beautifully laid out and reasonable choices.
We ate dinner in the restaurant and we had the chicken with mushrooms plat but it was chicken with onions and a little cold. I would have like just a few more vegetables… but it was welcomed after a long trip
Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and possibly was painted not too long ago. Bit outdated. One can make a tea or a coffee in the room. Secures parking during the night. As it was the weekend, the Restaurant was closed for food in the evening, I think snacks were ok. The breakfast gets served though every day. Possible to charge electric cars on stations. I appreciated an evening check in.
The single beds are quite narrow and the mattress was a bit soft in the middle. My room was to the back towards the street and because it was off season, the traffic stopped at night and it was quiet. The hotel is a bit hard to find as you can see the lights but road signs are not really in place.
The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful
For the night we stayed Kyriad group have obviously maximised the hotel occupancy to the detriment of other guests. Apparently they have regular stays by tour bus parties and the Dutch group of this night were horrendously noisy until the very late hours, not helped by paper-thin walls. The hotel has received very little renovation over many years and it shows!
Location for our journey to Reims. Cleanliness and comfort.
Dated appearance outside and rooms a little tired.
My second visit in three months when returning from a motorcycle trip. Frendly welcome and they recognised me which was nice.Ex campanile by the look of it so you know what you are getting.Didn't have an evening meal this time but breakfast very good with plenty of variety.
Signage is still a problem for this site as buildings have been erected in front of it obscuring reception.
We were able to leave our bikes outside our room.
Probably the most uncomfortable single bed I’ve slept on. Hard and lumpy
Reception & staff
Lumpy bed and general appearance of the accommodation block
That I could park my car virtually outside of my hotel door. The toilet seat was the correct height for a disabled person.
The fact that when I arrived the lady in charge could barely speak a word of English. Trying to book in was very hard.I accidentally went to my car and shut the door leaving my key card in the room. It was incredibly hard to try to explain what I had done and as she was working alone the reception and preparing meals at the dining room I had to disturb her from the dining room to get a new key card. She had learnt the word what very well when she was frustrated. The poor guests were trying to order in English what they wanted and she just kept saying sorry little English so it wasn’t just me. All it would take is to buy her an iPad and she can write on an app what she wants to say and vice versa and it takes all the stress away. I did that with an app on my phone at another hotel and it really worked. The hotel had a surprisingly noisy road around 5am so it was not good for sleeping. The room didn’t have a curtain at the window just a net curtain. It had an electric shutter outside so you had a choice of being in the dark with 2 spot lights above each bed head or have people see in with the nets if you put the light on. The draught excluder was made of foam and let a stream of light in under the door as did the shutters. The light came in from under the bottom of them. The only lights were the 2 spot lamps by the beds. There was no over head lighting or lights on the wall. The electric was an extension 3 plug socket stretched to the wall. It had a lamp in which didn’t work and neither did the telly. If I held the switch down the kettle would work. There was one plug high up the head board which I dared not to plug my charger to my electric wheelchair into. The bathroom was accessible. The toilet was high enough and there was a shower stool in the shower area. Once you had had a shower even with it facing towards the wall and on low it still didn’t go down the drain it came across the bathroom floor.
Friendly helpful staff ex campanile so usual facilities.Beaware the front of hotel photo is misleading because a new building obscures the front of hotel.Head for the carwash/Leclerc super market as it is difficult to see.Limited choice in restaurant but what's on offer is good.
Better signage for hotel.
Breakfast ok. Staff very nice
The place rather run down. Shower did not work well. Old and tired. A nice old building but in need of much tlc.
The accessible parking facilities were good & the rooms we had had an interconnecting door so we could all be together ! Very positive for being close to shops & other facilities.
We’ve stayed in other Kyriad hotels & have received bottled water in rooms for the kettle & also some have coffee & tea available free of charge so it was disappointing that we had to buy both of these & they were quite expensive
Good restaurant on site, varied menu. Good breakfast.Parking outside room and comfortable bed.
Light fitting next to bed looked unsafe. Bathroom did not smell good.
Nothing - we arrived during the night and were unable to access our rooms as the hotel was locked. We called the number on our booking confirmation several times and messaged the hotel through Booking.com but there was no response. The following day, the hotel replied saying I should have called a different number but this number was not supplied. They are refusing to refund us and Booking.com are not responding to my messages.
Everything - we couldn't even get into the hotel. Still waiting for a response from Booking.com as the phone number on our booking confirmation was not answered.
