Pros +
- The building and the surrounding ( nice garden and lovely atmosphere )
- The breakfast was very freshly prepared.
- The building and the grounds are very impressive. It is a good place to relax and be close to nature, and yet close enough to towns. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options.
Cons -
- No bar available in the evening so a quite boring .
- No choice of menu for dinner and having to pay extra to use spar facilities.
- The first room given to us was horrible: small, antiquated and very very hot with only a fan available. We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant but when we checked in we were told it wasn't open on Sundays! Very disappointing.

Great hotel with beautiful features
Disappointed that no restaurant open when we booked it says it was. However we are at a great little restaurant in town.
A beautiful old chateau in a wonderful quiet part of northern France. Staff were excellent. Beautiful areas to sit and enjoy a quiet drink in the morning while watching the sunrise!
The rooms are a bit dated, certainly in the building we were in, which seemed like a converted stable block. But for the money, I really can’t complain. Mattresses were very firm, so sleep was a challenge.
Nice location, quaint.
Restaurant was closed. I wouldn't of booked this if I had been told in advance, Spa and Breakfast are extra, we didn't opt for this. Again at time of booking it's not obvious the spa is an additional extra.. The chateau has a lingering smoke smell throughout. The kettle does not work in room 11 unless you put the main light switch on, no note explaining this in the room. Also a strange looking dirty sink directly outside the room with the pipes removed, which was off putting.
Beautiful buildings and rooms Food was superb. Staff wonderful
Pillows were synthetic - nothing else
The property is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are nice. The manager was so sweet, she offered us a ride to the other town because we couldn't find a taxi. You can walk to the town by foot, it's 15 minutes walk. I would recommend to rent a car in this area, the public transportation isn't that good.
It’s setup in beautiful surroundings
The price is just not worth the money. There is no airco in the rooms. As the weather was quite hot, we had to sleep with the window open, there was a lot of noise coming out from the building in front and people walking on the cobblestones make lots of noise . Also the bathroom is dated and not functional. They have a massive bar, but seems they are short staffed, so no one around to serve a drink. The hotel staff is also not the friendliest, there may be a language barrier, but lots can be achieved with a smile.
The pool area was lovely and relaxing
The stones in the car park to the accommodation were very difficult to pull a wheeled suitcase on - a path would be good for this.
Not much
Horrible room bathtub didn't work, no space to hang clothes, toilet was broken, protruding beam in room, no place to recharge phones, etc
The building is beautiful in the great setting, loads of parkland around, onsite parking was generous. The lounge areas, bar, restaurant were great, comfortable and looked beautiful, dinner was excellent, service attentive. The Treport town only few miles down the road, easily accessible by car.
Our room no4 was in the main building, it was spacious and decorated well enough, but felt quite dated, built on lower cost and did not reflect the same quality as the public areas. Bed was comfortable enough, new pillows are needed. Pool was more like a large Jacuzzi rather than a swimming pool.
Quality oif the Hotel its building surroundings and high standard of quality of fittings and finnish. Excellent grounds
The area in which the Hotrl is located is not very good or one to which we woukld return
It looks nice when you enter the property.
It was just a bad stay. I booked it as the last stop before crossing the channel, so we could recover from a long journey in the spa and have a relaxing time in the hotel. Plus having the comfort of having dinner at the hotel as well. But ALL WAS CLOSED. NO SPA and NO DINNER. Apparently they stopped this 3 months ago, they just have forgotten to mention this when I quizzed them over this. So, instead of having a relaxing day, it was a very stressful one because we were forced to look for a supermarket to get us sorted for lunch and dinner. Since we had dogs with us and the weather was great we were not in the mood of driving around the country side to find a place to eat. The room was not only dated but also badly finished. The bathroom was very basic as well dated- plus the bathroom had a terrible smell that you get from old pipes in the bathroom. The breakfast was as well disappointing with even a more disappointing coffee. I was really upset about it all since this stop was not necessary for us, but I thought it would be nice to have a relaxing spa day after the journey and get us in the right headspace before going back. So, all in all it was a complete waste of money and I was really upset that the hotel didn't not provide us with a discount based on the fact that all of their facilities were closed and failed to let us know when we booked it. After all they have our contact details.
nice location
was not made clear that restaurant was closed. also not clear there was no aircon since I was travelling with someone elderly it would have beengood to know before I booked
the location, the setting, the historical background, the facilities, the staff
