Love Esch sur sure. Hotel had a great vibe, lots of old world charm, the 2 mannequins are both a bit freaky and funny. Odd item to come across . Chatty nice staff. Sauna & steam a welcome thing to visit after a long drive.

Breakfast room a little confusing as no one about to to ask where things were. In a different room and a bit here & there.

This is an unusual hotel with multiple rooms spread around different sites (some away from the restaurant and office) on the top of a hill surrounded by a bend of the Sûre. It has lots of character but is very clean and comfy. The restaurant and bar are excellent. We had a couples room with a jacuzzi tub and a view onto the square in front of the hotel. It has a nice terrace for drinks. The staff were outstanding too--my wife was reluctant to take the room we originally reserved, which was up more stairs away in a separate building, but the staff found us an even more romantic room just steps form the bar and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

I wasn't aware how some rooms were not in the main building when booking on booking.com. I imagine that might have been clear on the hotel's website but it wasn't using the booking app.

Beautiful quiet townKind staff who were working hard on what seemed like a short staffed day. Great garage space for your motorcycle. nice patio for drinks and dinner.

A bit higgledy piggledy if that reference means anything. but that might also be part of the charm if that’s your thing.

Not much really

Location is amazing for hiking. Several routes and breathtaking views nearby.And after your hiking, you can take some relax time at the spa and the relaxation room.

Hotel had Lack of personnel but it managed to accommodate our request.

It’s right in the Center of the village!

The rooms are actually not where the “hotel” or reception is, but down the road. The road in front of it is one of the three roads in this village that go up. There’s no place to park to load and unload luggage, especially when there’s a car behind you - the outside is on! Stairs are narrow, very hard to pull large luggage up and down the stairs.

We had to move to a more expensive room because we were travelling with our dog, and we had to pay for that upgrade. We would have preferred to have been informed about this in advance and not upon our arrival.

The kitchen was top ! We ate 5 different dishes and they were all superb. Breakfast was elaborate with a great choice. Also glutenfree. Hotel with wellness, free for guests.

We have never experienced more arrogant staff in a hotel. Unfortunately this was the only free accommodation in the area, so we didn't have much choice. But it was our first and last visit. Besides, the rooms deserve to be painted already, there is already an unpleasant smell over the years.

Elements of the hotel had some character. The main restaurant for example. Nice central location in the village

Manager (owner?) at reception was very unfriendly and aggressive in attitude. The rooms being located outside of the main hotel was confusing and instructions on how to get to the room were vague and dismissively advised to us.

This is a magical uncrowded place providing the visitor with an amazing sense of tranquility in the heart of Europe. We used it as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside and the ww2 monuments in nearby Bastogne.

Everything we liked from location of the hotel to the staff attitude. Everything was ok the level a lot of positive emotions

Only 1 thing I didn't like that the staff didn't wish me happy birthday and it was my birthday

Welcomed by a lovely lady. Parking for motorcycles. Nice restaurant and breakfast. Nearby bars and restaurants.

Room was up a steep hill at rear of hotel and then up two flights of stairs. Constantly disturbed by guests next door and they were only talking ( very thin walls) and I bathroom ceiling very low so difficult to use toilet. Paid the most for this hotel on our tour but not really worth it.
