    Pros +

    • The room was super clean, wifi was adequate (after some initial difficulties), breakfast was nice.
    • The price point of this room was excellent. I am on a work trip and needed a place close to the highway. It was clean, easy to access, hot shower and comfortable bed.
    • Location and pet friendly

    Cons -

    • As others have mentioned, both the walls and the windows do not offer good insulation from noise. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
    • Only 1 bedside locker for double bed
    • While still working and in good shape, the bathroom gear and the look and feel is a bit outdated, but still very good value for the price.Rooms are far from sound proof, but once again, that is not a realistic expectation to have when booking a 1-star hotel.

Very easy check-in process when arriving out of office hours. Centric location in the charming village of Escalante. Very clean and very dog friendly.

Location was very rural but within easy reach of restaurants and bars with a cars accommodation was clean but bedding all felt a little damp. Didn’t affect us having a comfortable stay overall.

Lovely village. Easy Parking. Easy to find. Easy self checkin/checkout. Large comfy room.

Nothing, exceeded expectations for the price.

Good breakfast, value for money and quiet

Excellent place to stay not far from the coast. Friendly host who helped me out as I hadn't received the codes to enter the building. Good room with comfortable bed. Area felt really safe.

Not sure why but I didn't received any instructions on how to enter the building? Host sorted it straight away when I phoned.

The breakfast was great and the person serving was amazing. The house had everything that I needed and was on the Camino route

It was a bit of a walk to the town but no big deal. All good

Sandra was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. It is very quaint and located in a lovely little village with beautiful surroundings. Would have certainly extended my stay if we weren't just passing through.

Location and excellent value for money without compromising comfort.

    Breakfast room a little depressing.

Good location in this very pretty old town - a short walk to the town centre and cafes/restaurants. Communication was by booking.com messages and was very good, e.g. they told me where I could leave my bike.

The location in a quiet sunny village . Our corner room had two windows with little balconies and was very light.

    9KatiaPosted on: 6-5-2024

Although not shining new, the room was spotlessly clean, shower was perfectly hot and the breakfast was just what and how much a person needs for breakfast. Easy to get to the property and no need to worry about the reception will be out of hours.

Very clean and central to villageBreakfast good and excellent value

The checkin / out times are good. There are nice surrounding walks.

I hate leaving bad reviews but..The room I booked clearly states it has a terrace and mountain views. I arrived and they had put me in a small dark double room at the back of the hotel, with no terrace or mountain views. I told them there had been a mistake and they said no, not all family rooms have a terrace or mountain views and it was my fault for not telling them I wanted it (it is what I booked?!). They told me if I didn't like the room I could leave. They were very rude and only gave me the correct room after I said I'd speak to Booking.com. The room description clearly says terrace and mountain views, that is what I booked and paid for so that's what I should have had - there is no debate.

Last minute reservation helped us get a stay for the night when a different reservation fell through. Basic, quiet stay in a no frills environment. Prompt whatsapp support from the owner/keeper solved minor issues. Restaurant / bar in the neighbourhood unexpectedly provided ample food and drink. Parking in the street.

Location on Booking doesn't include the street number, so it took some time to find the exact location. Extra opt-in for breakfast had escaped my attention, which meant we had to look for one outside. Thankfully this proved not too difficult. Check-ins with login codes for key boxes are always a bit fiddly, but we made it work.

We stopped here for just one night for convenience with our small, well behaved dog. Check-in was easy- all automated- and the room / bathroom were both clean, if on the small side. We were concerned about bringing our dog having read other very negative reviews but everything was great, they even put a doggy welcome pack in the room and only charged a 7€ supplement. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very powerful! We opted for breakfast (6,50€ supplement per person) and the lady on duty was very welcoming, explaining everything to us and bringing us hot drinks and fruit juice. There was fresh bread, a choice of cereals, a choice of 2 types of pastries, a local cake (in plastic wrapping), yoghurts and a choice of jams (,including one homemade which was lovely). All a bit industrial rather than artisanal but it filled us up!All in all a basic but perfectly fine place to stop over at a reasonable price.

Room was rather warm despite leaving the windows open all evening- we could have had them open all night but there was some street noise which we thought would keep us awake
