Pros +
- Very local feeling with adjacent bodiga Antigua. Which served traditional meat over open fire, between the friendly locals. Room is basic but complete, very charming hotel with many traditional elements. Breakfast was also good.
- Gorgeous renovated house with beautiful interiors, courtyards, decorated with old farming equipment, flowers. Very friendly owner. Our room had a balcony and a jacuzzi tub.
- Character accommodation in small village. Warm welcome. Private parking. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the nearby restaurant.
Cons -
- When restaurant is closed there are no facilities to get drink or food. Bolster pillow was very firm. Breakfast predominantly sweet.
- The town was very quiet with one empty restaurant for eating on the Thursday evening. It felt very strange to be the only guests in an empty hotel. The shower was only tepid the first day, but slightly warmer the second day. Internet access was intermittent, though the owner is aware of that.

We liked the space, comfort and cleanliness of the room. The location wad peaceful and parking was easy. The breakfast was fine and plentiful. The owner was pleasant. It was handy for visiting Zamora and Salamanca.

Friendly atmosphere. Excellent restaurant. Large modern, clean rooms.
Spacious clean and comfortable room. Outstanding and very interesting building. Great to talk to the very friendly owner. Quality food served at the restaurant across the road owned by the owner's sister.
A bit difficult to get to.
Lovely place. Our stay here was above and beyond. Such a relaxing little town, I wish we had stayed longer. The little village this place belongs too has the basics, and for more restaurant diversity and cultural offers it is a 15 min drive away from Zamora city center.
Exquisite spanish charm. The ambience was fantastic. the facilities wonderful including a jacuzzi bath! The owner was friendly and helpful - a lovely man.
Hotel rural in nice little village, very comfortable, very friendly staff. Few restaurants/bodegas around. Very pretty and well maintained. Great for a couple of days exploring the area around Salamanca and Zamora.
Its a family-run hotel and every single detail is filled with history. Every room (we visited some of them) is a work of art with artistic details that are so endearing. The breakfast is all locally sourced and there were always at least 2 different cakes freshly-baked waiting for us. The toasts were amazing and abundant and every request was met with a smile. The bed was huge and the room very quiet, at least after the guests were not in the corridor. There's a huge library where one can enrich itself with both classics and contemporary books. There's no shortage of typical underground restaurants to eat in, all in short walking distance, including the Bodega Antigua, owned by the same family that owns the Hotel. Zamora is a short 10 minute-trip away and the AC works perfectly.
Everything was spot on so nothing to report here.
This rural hotel was a fun way to see rural Spain. Our host gave us a tour in Spanish of this farm house-turned-hotel. The history was very interesting. He also provided a really wonderful continental breakfast with nice strong coffee and many different breakfast items including fruit, toast with jam or tomato/olive oil, yogurt, fresh orange juice and even meat/cheese. The beds were comfortable. The pillows are more firm than I like, but I had my own pillow. The room and bathroom were very clean and we enjoyed a traditional dinner at the restaurant next door (belonging to the brother of the hotel owner)
Perfect location. Very quiet Highly recommended for everyone who is looking for time to reset and charge "batterys".
Beautiful place very helpful owner fantastic breakfast
Breakfast was perfect and the whole hotel and area around was like a trip back in time. If this place is on your way and available, don't think twice. Pick your room and enjoy. And no need to rush in the morning, sleep well.
Very professional staff.
