Spa, bedroom was of good size. Also very quiet.

Some quick fixes (electrical wiring easily accessible) and some parts of the spa were not working.

Comfortable, clean and really good hotel. Very good breakfast

The price of the massages was very expensive

Pleasant welcome but slow admin. Photos online obviously taken some years ago. All now quite dated. Although our room was clean, needed a good airing. Staff were my main concern. Lots of trainees who couldn’t pour drinks or find you a menu. Eg. Really is quicker to go out to eat n drink, which is what we did!!

Complete hotel with spa, good breakfast and bed, ample spaces. Love the fact that has a sauna and kids area. Very Kind and helpful staff. Me and my sister went with our children, they gave us the extra beds we asked for. But in order for us to feel more comfortable with space they decided to accommodate us on the bigger suite.

Outdoor windows from the building and lift not clean. Gym could be more organised, some coffee machines looked to be not working very well. And our toilet sometimes was running out of water to flush and we had to call for support. As it used to take longer. Believe just a few things that need to be seen.

Lovely buffets from breakfast to dinner. Really enjoyed the spa and pool.

We were given twin beds even though we asked for a double and they were not comfortable either. It would have been nice if there was a kettle or coffee machine in the room and also an iron.

The hotel was lovely, very clean, receptionist was lovely and had very good English.

The food in the bar was not good, 2 of our burgers were not cooked right, raw in centre, one was fine. Service at the bar overall was generally slow. Bar staff had little or no English.

The location is good

Very old. Need renovation. The bathroom door was broken and the wall paper was peeling off.

The food in the restaurant was really good! The staff there was very kind as well, definitely the best part of the stay. Although we didn't use the pool, the area was nice.

The hotel seems as if it has seen better days. It could use a complete refresh. It was 93° when we were there and it would have been nice if the AC was turned on in our room before we arrived. Thankfully, it was dinner time, by the time we returned, it had cooled down.

We liked being in the beautiful town of Penafiel to visit our relatives. I liked the hotel, pool and staff. It was interesting that different football teams came to stay. Being from the UK it was good that we had parking available too.

Some aspects of the hotel would benefit from refurbishment but nothing spoiled our stay.

used spa only once but it was good , easy access to pool, cleaning staff spot on very good,

rooms needs big overall update as mould around bath, water damage on doors in bathroom , carpets in room looks a bit outdated and old, to me this hotel is i would call as night stop over for couch groups as every day 2 or 3 couches arrive and then staff struggle during breakfast with groups of unappreciated and not best behave people.

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant stay at the hotel. Starting, the room, it is absolutely outdated, very dark with old furniture scratched. The wall with paper wall with the image of a labour female on it made me totally uncomfortable. Also some strange smells, like mildew. I asked to change, the staff kindly showed a another room that was terrible like the first. However, smelling better and with a nature painting on the wall. As I was on a work trip, I will appreciate having an iron, but it was denied, and I had to use the laundry service. I had my first-day dinner in the restaurant, I ordered a risotto, that was extremely salted. I thought it was like it was a joke because I had not wanted the bottle of water. My laundry comes back,and to my surprise, the skirt was completely wet. I laughed, as I was tired to complain about everything. After four days, I came across the third Tour group, which have run out the goods for breakfast. Only one attendant, who looked totally lost...

Disastrous room, noisy, old, doors not closing, a/c not functioning ( or just heating I could not understand.

The room is very poorly lighted; you move in semidarkness. Only bedside lamps and one light behind a mirror. Wifi is weak and unreliable and you must reconnect every time you need internet. Toilett paper has the lowest quality imaginable.

I made a special request for the room and asked for a romantic decoration and it was all so cute. The hotel is also very beautiful and the spa was perfect as well.

Parking area was huge but having a garage would be a plus on safety.
