- Beautiful infinity pool with a view ^_^Staff was super nice and polite
- Location, a lot of parking.
- The location was good with a great view. The food was okay, but not with a large variety. The staff was friendly and the price-quality ratio was acceptable.
Cons -
- I don’t know where to start… We paid for maisonette for 6 people (2 adults and 4 kids), we were given 2 very I mean very uncomfortable sofas. One of my nephews, who is 10 years old, couldn’t take it anymore so I had to call my brother to come from Sofia to pick him up, because he just couldn’t spend another night not getting any sleep. My other nephew couldn’t sleep either on the other sofa but at least he agreed to share the Queen sized bed with my son and daughter. Food was pretty much the same every day, with not much variety. Most of the time when my family grabbed food from the “hot selection” it was cold. Additionally, if a food was running low they wouldn’t refill it before it runs out, instead you would have to then wait for it to be brought out later on. Next, in the mornings was the only time you can have free water, juice or coffee, for lunch and dinner you are being charged prices as if you were in a 5 star resort. There was no salt, pepper, oil or vinegar at the table, you needed to walk to the buffet table and wait for the people in front of you to be done with it so you can use it as well. The first day there were 2 coffee machines but I guess one of them broke and in the morning to get a coffee was quite a challenge, not only waiting in lines, but also finding a porcelain cup… From 5 days staying at the property 3 days we couldn’t use the bathroom on the second floor because the canal was clogged and we complained every day to the receptionist. There was no AC on second floor so the kids were dying of heat during the night. Also, finding someone to get you a drink during the day on the outside pool bar was mission impossible. You would have to make your way back inside and hope that there was a bar tender and you wouldn’t have to wait 10 minutes. On top of that the coffee station in the room was never restocked, so if you’re a coffee drinker bring your own or you will have to pay.
- The same food from the dinner was served to the lunch on the other day. The curtains in the room were dirty, the toilet bowl was not cleaned well inside, the foam in the jacuzzi was beige in color... that was not pleasant at all.
- Rooms are still great but need refurbishment.

Friendly staff. Great food. Perfect location. Clean pool.
Rooms are still great but need refurbishment.
We only liked the staff, the jacuzzi and the small green garden in front of the spa - nothing else.
I'll try to explain things as objectively as possible: the only thing that is still OK in this hotel is the reception and the corridors - all other tangible assets: rooms, toilets, bathrooms, pools, SPA, restaurant, etc. have been left to their own devices and have not been renewed for years: in one of the three rooms we took, the shower did not work at all; in all three rooms there was not enough water in the toilet; missing light bulbs in the lamps, uncomfortable mattresses that have been fully depreciated forever, rather shabby sheets, etc.; the food in the evening is OK, and in the morning the breakfast resembles that of a three-star hotel; from the so-called SPA center, only the sauna actually worked - the infrared sauna worked from time to time, and the steam bath was so weak that it was as if it did not work; we did not test the salt room because it was for an additional fee; in general, the SPA part looks like a relatively abandoned room, where there is not even a SPA receptionist; the pool is generally OK, but I don't understand why there are only a few deckchairs around it, everything else is some garden furniture to sit on. Overall: we would never go again
Perfect food ! Staff if friendly . Nice and hot inside the rooms. Pool is clean and water T if comfortable.
If you want to have a drink NO chance- lobby bar is just abandoned during the evening/night. Reception was left with no presence after 23:00. Rooms are really tight, not a single chair inside. Not a single hanger to hang you jacket. For such a crowdy place, only one jacuzzi is not enough.
The location was really nice by the lake.
The photos are modern with nice photography . The place is clean, but it's not as the photo standard shows. The villa needs abet of renovation. We were half board. Your drinks during meals are not included .
Clean and warm room with a great mountain and lake view.SPA indoor pools were warm and working at the end of December.
Not many food options at dinner - some were tasty but others felt greasy and reheated. The indoor pool water had too much chlorine.
The food and drinks were delicious. I really liked the sauna and the jacuzzi. The staff were very helpful.
I did not like the rooms themselves, we did not have basic commodities like a hair dryer, electrical outlets in our bedroom (there were outlets in the living room). Also expected a bigger diversity of food. That is all considering the price, all the things said before are not a deal breaker. But I expected better quality.
Food was good and the staff were very polite.
The hotel is a bit amortized, it could use some renovation.
The location, the food, the staff?
Bathroom could be better
-The food was fine.-The pool water was hot enough, even for a small baby.-Comfortable beds.- In general, people.were nice and polite.
- noise during the day.- 2-3 times a glass with lipstick from the previous person was served...- the rooms are not clean enough. (cobwebs on the walls, dirty bathroom)- The indoor pool was closed. - you need to pay extra for spa, massages, etc....
The staff were amazing! We were visiting with two small children, one of them a baby, we had some special needs for them, and they assisted us immediately with anything we asked for. The villas are nice and the place is very beautiful.
The only disadvantage of the villas is that there is no air conditioning in them, only in the hotel rooms, and the bathroom is relatively small. And the villa is a bit hardly accessible with baby stroller, since you have to go around the hotel to reach the restaurant, but it is a nice opportunity for a walk.
The pools were nice, the food was wonderful and the staff was polite and friendly
The apartment was ok, but the bathroom was terrible.
It is very clean and quite place, perfect family breks. The stuff is so friendly, helpful and make you feel like you are at home. I can't describe how delicious is the food with such a big choice. I really recommend this lovely place and definitely will come back again.
The view to the lake. View from the bedroomBeds were confortable enough.Mekitsi (among other things) for breakfast. The outdoor playground.
Fitness room advertised, but alas closed for renovations. My husband was quite disappointed specially because he had asked me if there was a fitness and I said there was. The small non-smoking dining room. The first night we had to have dinner in the smoking area that is larger than the non-smoking one, with children. Really very unpleasant. The all hotel and style (including the preference to cater more for smokers) feels like at least 1 decade old if not 2 decades. The indoor pool water was very cold. And being very dark was even less appealing to enter.Loud music until late at night. Don't know if from the hotel or from neighbouring properties. Although I managed to sleep but not everyone in our party managed.
I liked the very friendly and helpful staff!I also liked they had a recharging station for electric cars that it's free of charge for their guests.
I didn't like the conditions of the inside pool and that at the dinner there was no replacement of the deserts!
Food was nice, live music also.
I have booked 3 rooms with ensuit bathroom, instead of that I got 3 rooms with regular bathroom. I was advised that I should have checked the availability in advance for these specific rooms, in Booking.com was not mentioned such thing. Only one of the rooms was with the en suite bathroom, but the lock was not working right and they moved us to another bigger room, I didn’t want a bigger room, I wanted the rooms I have booked and paid for. I wanted to speak with a manager, I was told that a manager will be available on the next day-nobody approached me. Very disrespectful.
Amazing hotel! Great value for money. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice balcony. The view was very beautiful, looking at the Batak lake. Delicious and high quality breakfast and dinner. All facilities were very well kept - the restaurant, the spa, the warm indoor pool! The staff were extremely nice and helpful. This hotel is 10 times better than all overpriced hotels in the near town of Velingrad! Definitely coming back soon!
Nice location and view. Very good facilities.
The swimming pool was not clean. The staff was friendly but they need to improve their professional knowledge.
