Very clean, modern, friendly people, good food

Great location with incredible views

Breakfast had lots of choice but average quality of some items. Room had broken toilet seat and no coffee making facilities.

The beds were too soft, lack support may need to be chsnged. Bathroom old as well, can snell the old pipes:pee fumes. Definitely need renovation. But the food resto is good. The spa ehich was probably the latest renovation was great. Love the pools, outdoor spa, bathrooms n modern gym. Big plus.

The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The hotel has a nice location with an amazing view. The rooms were nice, clean and quiet, but the family was a little small.

We would have liked a more extended menu for the bar and a pretty expensive spa.

Disappointing

Standard single room doesn't value that money at all. Disappointed. Spa are also for seperete price two main pools doesn't work.

The spa area is nice and the location is quite amazing! Amazing views that truly recharge the soul.

This place is a bit tricky… whilst the location is amazing and the spa is nice, everything else falls short of what a 4 star hotel should be (I honestly, don’t fully get why it has 4 starts…). The hotel is traditional and in some parts I would say in need of a refurbishment. The furniture in my bedroom was quite old and definitely in need of replacement/repair.I selected the superior twin room with garden view and was quite disappointed by the view itself. Also, the room doesn’t have much amenities (at least what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel). The food at the restaurant, albeit not bad, definitely not worth the +1000kr spent. In the morning during breakfast, I witnessed a waiter refill the “freshly squeezed juice” (that was the description they had) with regular packaged juice…The (already high) price of the room did not include an entry to the spa. I was charged an extra 250kr pp to enter + 395kr pp for some slippers, a thin branded robe and a tote bag… So I would advise anyone who’s not looking into running into those expenses to bring all your own material. There’s not much to do there at night. It would be nice if they had some sort of musical act to entertain guests since they do have a piano in one of the lounge areas (I’m not 100% sure if they have musical acts but at least on May 20th 2023 they didn’t).

The location is amazing with the view over the lake. The breakfast was really good with so many options. The room was ok.

The room was too small with two single beds that makes it difficult to sleep if you are a couple. We asked for a room with double bed but they said that they didn't have it. The water in the spa was full of chlorine that we could smell it right away when got in there. Also the restaurant closes at 9 pm for dinner which they didn't tell us when we checked in so we had to drive 20 minutes to the city to find a restaurant and eat dinner.

Staff was unwelcoming.We felt like we were in the way of the staff.The restaurant host was behaving like we were not worthy of visiting his venue No staff was smiling.Breakfast was precooked and no real staff except for busboys were available.Allergy support was lacking Receptionist gave wrong information about restaurant rules and opening hours

Dinner and breakfast was good. Not exceptional, but fine. The staff in the restaurant was helpful. The lounge areas, where coffee and tea is offered at all times, are quite nice.

We had booked one of the rooms in the annex. When we got there, there were markings on our door, as if someone had tried to break in. Inside, the lights in the toilet didn’t work. When I got to the front desk and asked if we could stay in the main building, I was told I had to pay 500 sek extra for an upgrade. We asked for another room in the annex, but realized it was close to the dog rooms with both the sound barking and dog smell in the hall. As we wanted to sleep well, we got back to the front desk, payed for the upgrade and got a decent room in the main building. It was ok, but smelled quite a lot from somebody else’s after shave and was quite cold (only one out of two radiators were working). Avoid booking rooms in the annex is my advice. The standard in the annex is just above “youth camp”, while the rooms in the main building are more like standard hotel rooms. Also, as the Swedish weather is unpredictable, living in the same building as the restaurant is much more convenient.

Breakfast buffet superb!!! Loved the overall quiet and calm atmosphere!! The hotel is situated with a beautiful view. Nce and quiet rooms.
