Hotel-Restaurant Löwen

Charming, clean, comfortable, newly renovated rooms. Dielsdorf is a quaint little village in the old part of town. The restaurant was excellent. Great food, nice ambiance, friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was also very nice and the lady serving the breakfast was very friendly.

Would be a little more personable to have someone there to check you in and out. But we knew this before checking in, so it was no surprise, the self check in and out.

Pretty hotel close to Horse Park and equestrian competitions

No heating in the rooms. In December when it‘s cold outside it would be nice to return to a cosy room. It was cold. After emailing (no staff present) a portable heater was brought to the room)

Bfast was poor in terms of options.

I asked to be able to check in at 11AM and this cost me over 80CHF (more than half the cost of a night stay). Way too overpriced for a few hours early check in.

Nice location for me, very clean and comfortable. Also a very good breakfast.

There was a problem with the check in. We arrived at a time when someone should have been there (10:30 am) The online check in did not work. However we resolved the issue in the afternoon so it worked out.

A fun boutique hotel in a quaint Swiss town not far from the Zurich Airport. Walkable from the train station.

A very quiet town, but the hotel provides food and drink if needed

Greek was a kind staff and he helped us so much

Breakfast was good.

I booked through booking.com and was charged the full amount. Upon checkout there was additional 79CHF charge as a “remaining balance” that was never discussed. I have no idea what it was for.

Lack of personnel

I think that the person working at reception evening and morning deserves to be mentioned. Friendly, competent and very responsive he made a real difference to my experience at this hotel.

There is church bill sound all night long we couldn’t sleep at all it really load

Lovely hotel, well maintained in a nice location

The local church bells ring every hour throughout the night and also every 15 minutes.On previous stays that hasn't bothered me but I really struggled this time.

The hotel was lovely and the bed was comfortable.

The church nearby rang out all night long. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep!

Location and receptionist was so kind to put our bag into the freezer

The room was on the ground floor, very noisy, very hot as we were able to open only one window which had a safety gutter, online check-in didn’t work, three years in a row now, too many emails with codes, logins and nothing works. Shower screen was very difficult to close, or impossible, one corner got water logged. Restaurant closed…

Very nice peaceful hotel

The check in process was slightly over-complicated only because there was the check in screen available but in fact our keys were left in an envelope which was not so obvious.

Very good price for the service, nice staff.
