The spa area is great, and facilities are very clean. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant, the breakfast is one of the best we found, and dinner was also delicious.

Everything neat and clean.The wellness although small was nice.

Outside was still under construction that was not nice to see.

The room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed. Everything was very clean and modern.The food was amazing, too.

It was a bit expensive in our opinion.

Loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the room was cute and very comfortable. The restaurant is also great, with plenty of fine dining options. And if you feel like something different, there's another restaurant 5 minutes away. We cycled along the dunes using the rental bikes. I'd recommend the electric ones if the wind is strong. They're powerful enough to ride comfortably through the insane Texel winds. We also borrowed binoculars from the front desk to check out the birds. Very nice. Would come back if we want to visit Texel again!

The area , the staff were exceptional. Pool very good and the food was different to normal and well presented.

Very nice and friendly staff and clean and beautiful rooms. Hotel looks well maintained, nice decor. Amazing food at Gusta. We enjoyed Christmas Dinner, also breakfasts had a lot of variety. Bed was comfy. Nice complementary gifts upon our arrival. View from the room was also nice. Really liked the pool.

My biggest complaint is the noise - when I would want to sleep (late evening/early morning). Even though I liked the hotel overall and I would like to come back, I would never ever want to stay in a room on a ground floor. First of all, we had someone above us who always came back into the room around 11pm - midnight and was making so much noise! stomping, moving things around.. And 5 doors down on our floor there was a lady with dog(s) and that dog barked in the morning disturbing everyone around. If I did not have earplugs I would not be able to sleep at all. I think people with kids and dogs should be placed strategically so they do not disturb other guests who came there to relax. Some other minor notes.Rooms: I never had a hotel before which had a big bed, one mattress and 2 separate blankets, this was quite awkward as we always sleep under one and during our stay we could not cuddle as much. At the reception we were told the one blanket is only for more expensive rooms, which is weird to be honest. Pillows are also too thick, my neck hurt quite a lot and I could not sleep properly during the first night. Thinner pillows would be nice. Room service: we did not get the right amount of towels first day after our stay and I had to go to reception for extra towels, which friendly staff provided. Spa: just one shower is very little, sometimes you need to wait for others to finish. But there is room to install more on the walls, not sure why this was not done. The floors before the saunas are extremely slippery and I almost fell once. Jakuzzi is outside, and we did not use it even though we wanted. But being sick recently we wouldn't risk going outside into the cold. Also in the evening the water in the mason jar was not available anymore, so it could be refilled more often considering a lot of guests go into spa in the evening.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy hotel over Christmas. The festive vibe was just right and the special dinners they put together made the holiday feel extra special. The spa was amazing and super relaxing. Everything about the place was perfect for a quiet escape from the city. Would definitely recommend it!

Excellent location, close to the Farol, beach and Den Burg! The breakfast had a lot of variety and the dinner was amazing :)

Everything was spotless, felt really cozy and nicely decorated for Christmas. The rooms are really spacious, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious

The bed could be a little bigger as the room is really spacious. The portion sizes of the food are quite small. These are minor points though.

The room was amazing, the swimming pool was fantastic and the people so kind and friendly! Breakfast and dinner were very delicious and overall was a great experience!

Room lighting was not adequate. We had to change room after one night because of bad smell. The staff reacted very adequate to it and a new room was allocated within 15 minutes.

No cupboard in tge room to hang clothes… not a good place to hang towels, no mini bar, pretty noisy neighbours…

Room was wonderful and comfortable. We had a special room, so lots of nice additionals in that space - highly recommended to spent a little more on the upgrade. Super convenient to bike to and from local area.

location is a little bit isolated, but that is the only real criticism that i can give, as everything else was wonderful

The room was very comfortable. Lots of space, clean and comfy bed. Particularly liked the pillow spray -- that was a nice touch. We didn't use the spa but the pool area was also nice. It was small but not too crowded. The breakfast spread was good. Nice range of savoury and sweet options. The restaurant decor was cozy - had a feel of being in a forest cabin which is nice. The cocktails were delicious and decently priced.

Would be nice to have some lounge chairs at the pool area. Dinner at the restaurant was ok. Our order took almost 45mins to arrive. It was already dark by the time our food arrived and we didn't get a light for our table (we had to take one from another table). The presentation of the food was good but our fish was a bit over cooked. For the caliber that the restaurant is going for, it should also provide some amuse bouche or at least some olives or bread while waiting to order. But overall, we were quite happy with the restaurant.
