    • Good location
    • The room was very spacious and comfortable as well as unique. The breakfast was served in the castle and it was an amazing ambiance. Good selection of food as well.

    Cons -

    • The staff seemed not to be very keen that we ate at 20:00 at least they had to express themselves at the bar afterwards.
    • The room had a weird smell and in the morning once people started using the facilities in surrounding rooms it became an open sewer.Upon mentioning that in the morning it was 'a known issue'
    • Room was a bit dark. The beams were nice to look at but remember to duck!

    Location, nice view from window.

Lovely location. Very comfortable room. Indoor overnight bicycle storage.

The reception staff could use better training in hospitality. Not particularly helpful nor pleasant.

The buildings itself is nice, rooms are bigger then other rooms in the same category, quality of bed was good

Certainly! Here's a refined version of your hotel review in English:---During our stay at your hotel, our initial impression upon arrival was neither particularly welcoming nor unwelcoming. According to your website, parking is available for free and does not need to be pre-reserved. However, we found no available parking spaces as all were taken, and we had to find parking further away on our own.The rooms, although spacious, are poorly soundproofed, creating a constant feeling of needing to whisper late at night. Even just leaving the room generates so much noise that it seems to wake the entire house.Several standard comfort items were missing from the room, such as a tissue box, large comfortable towels, a mini-bar or fridge, and proper cups and glasses. There was no complimentary bottle of water provided. While there is a coffee machine available, the experience is diminished by having to use plastic cups, which also contribute to unnecessary waste. Overall, there was a noticeable lack of attention to small amenities that typically make a guest feel welcome. In the basement of the guest house, there is an empty hall with no available drinks or refreshments. This area, filled with e-bikes and resembling a bicycle garage, leaves a poor impression. Additionally, the terrace, which is a designated smoking area, is poorly maintained. Only one of the four tables has a large bowl (a cut flowerpot) overflowing with cigarette butts, giving the area an uncared-for appearance. This is unfortunate, as it could otherwise be an added-value feature.Overall, the lack of attention to detail and missing small comforts made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been.

The unique rooms - large space

Our children felt their rooms were too hot even with the fans. Our room was great #27

The hotel is in a great location and cute little town - we enjoyed dinner out in the main square.

The guest rooms are in a separate building down the street so that was not very convenient. There was a lot of construction going on at the hotel which we were not made aware of and they had a makeshift kitchen in a trailer on-site right at the front door.

I love the hotel. I always stat there. Even tho this time was bad, i would still recommend.

The room was “trashed”. Big crack in the window. No certains only the rods. No refrigerator. The tv didnt work. No bathropes like useal. I called right away but they couldn’t fix the problems. It was to much problems, they should have gave me another room. I stay here atleast 8 times a year and this is my first time with the bad experience and lack of trying to fix it by staff.

    okay.

No front office open in the evening. No sufficient person on the phone to guide me within 30 minutes to my key!

    Location, comfortable bed.

Room was warm, a fan would be nice. The roof beams in the room are dangerous at night for tall people.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and the location was very good

The room was a little warm and we found it strange to have a shower without a door. I think the room may need more ventilation. I also think it needs to be clear that when booking you will not actually be staying in the castle.

    The bed, the view!

The fire alarm went off because of the shower warm water steam

    The castle was picturesque.

The breakfast was poor. The restaurant was understaffed. We had to ask for plates and to refill the buffet. Buffet selection was adequate but not the best by far. Our online dinner reservation was not received and were told that we had to eat now because the kitchen would close at 9. The dinner was good but overpriced. The bedroom was not sound proofed. You could hear guests above you because floor boards were weak. Guests were loud outside our room.A large skip with old mattresses and hotelroom equipment was placed immediately outside the hotel block. One night, people were going through the garbage in the skip. The room was very warm without airco. Staying there in the summer would be unbearable.

    Beautiful location, large room

Very warm in the room, no airco conditioning

The hotel is nicely situated near the centre of the old historic town. The room was spacious.

I was travelling with a friend, so there were a few aspects that made the trip awkward. Firstly, the bath and shower were in the middle of the bedroom, rather than in a separate bathroom - as we were just friends, we had to leave the room to let the other bathe. Secondly, breakfast was also awkward, rather than being able to select ourselves we were delivered a tray with our appointed food. This led to me feeling like I was wasting a lot of food (a lot left on our tray at the end). Travellers should also note that most (all?) of the bedrooms are not in the main historic hotel building with reception and dining room/bar, but in a modern annex over 100m away around a corner.

The lady running breakfast was excellent, very nice and efficient.

Check-in after hours was not a good experience. The person responsible was obviously not happy with us coming in later than normal (even though this was communicated beforehand).

the restaurant and food were very nice. the room big and clean

I did not know that the rooms were in another building on the other side of the street and were not easy to find.

The breakfast was ok, little choice since they bring everything to your table.

    1) almost no working lights, couldn’t see the bathtub and shower2) several bloodstains on the matrass3) no working refrigerator
