Hotel Atena Bordeaux Sud Est - Vélo Friendly

Wonderful staff. Our room was clean. We didn’t have the breakfast, so can’t speak to that. Wished we realized earlier that there was a self check in option! We waited at the lovely picnic table outside in the shade until the fro t desk staff returned.

Safe bike storage in their dedicated bike garage. I received the expected level of comfort for the price paid. Friendly receptionist.

A perfect place to stop over whilst road-tripping from the UK to Southern Spain. The hotel was easy to find with lots of parking in a secured area. Keyless system in operation meant one less thing to lose and situated next to a decent bistro and opposite a large supermarket and petrol station. Super convenient, friendly staff, comfortable bed and very clean room/en suite. And great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

The place is okay to spend a night on route. Very basic.

The matress was old and not in the best condition. The person at the reception could have been a lot kinder.

Friendly receptionist. Bistro next door for food which was great as we arrived late.

The staff on day two were really good and helped us organise transport to get to and from a near by Chateau to attend a wedding.

The gentlemen on reception on the day of arrival was not that helpful, when we tried to book a taxi for the following day to take us to a wedding venue.

It was as we expected for a hotel of this type. Our room was clean, comfortable and provided what we needed. The staff were helpful. We didn't have breakfast. Good secure accommodation for our bike.

Nice room. Large bathroom. Excellent location near station and centre of city. Friendly, helpful staff. Secure storage for bikes.

It had air conditioning

The check in time is quite late, it meant I had to hang onto my luggage while I explored the area.

Bed was fairly comfortable

Strong vinegar smell in the lobby, the cleaning could be better (there were pubes left from the previous customer when I came into the room), very strong deodorizer smell in the room makes it feel like they’re trying to hide an unpleasant smell overall…

Value for money clean, as it says on the tin. Walking distance to a very good/posh bakery/shop "halles" /bar.

Was typical Hotel accomodation with just a bed and bathroom good for one night. Was extremely clean, you can tell the staff are really making an effort to keep this establishment well and truely above average. They also secure storage for bicycles.

It was close to a mall.

We chose this specific hotel to have a Tesla charging station which they promised but none of the two stations were working and no staff was available to contact about the problem.

We choose as a budget option and it was great value for a 2 night stay. Very small rooms and not somewhere i'd stay for a long holiday, but perfect for a short stay where you don't spend much time in the hotel. Good breakfast and nice owners. just across the road from a big supermarket.

The lady on reception was friendly and helpful even with our language barrier.

It was advertised that it had air-conditioning but the whole hotels air-conditioning does not work. The room had a very noisy fan heater instead. The shower head was the worst shower head I have come across.

Good value for money, had a secure lock up for bicycles. Clean and quiet. A good restaurant next door. Opposite large shopping centre.

The late check in time. The distance from the town centre was too far to walk.

It was very welcoming after cycling in the pouring rain. Secure space for our bikes behind the hotel. Small but comfortable room. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant next door as it was a Sunday night and probably not much else around. There is an Intermarché across the road and McDonalds. Breakfast was the standard bread, pastries etc but did set us up for the next bike ride.
