    Pros +

    • Room was excellent; hotel facility itself quaint and historic with many very old features and use of interior brick and old stone; restaurant was quiet, romantic and perfect atmosphere, dining room in what probably was an old cellar of some sort
    • The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is very pleasant and so interesting. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was very good and so was the dinner.
    • Such a nice property with a great view of the Millau viaduct from its property! Unfortunately our room did not have that view but we had a very nice view over the surrounding towns. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was amazing, sit outside if you can. It was very romantic!

    Cons -

    • Location, while scenic over river and Millau Viaduct, is difficult to find even with GPS we ended up in driveway and of a totally nearby resident below the chateau. Only when he directed us did we "find" the hotel
    • No complaints!
    • No dislikes, staff was great!

Location was beautiful and quiet. Comfortable room and good restaurant.

A bit posh atmosphere. Staff in the restaurant was not very friendly to junior staff members in the presence of guests (they should give their feedback behind the screens, rather than openly criticize juniors in an unfriendly way).

we came to the area to view the viaduct millau and chanced upon this fabulous place. staff incredibly helpful. we stayed in Terrace room authentic old chateau style with fabulous modern bathroom.the real standout is the dining room with exceptional dishes and wine to match.peaceful and the bells from church next door were magical.

comfortable room. quiet airconditioning. Windows could be opened to enjoy the view of the terracotta rooftops. Lovely dining room with barrel ceiling. welcoming staff. Very good dinner although one of us would have liked a simple vegetarian or mixed salad starter alternative on the menu.

Soap dish in shower needs to be fixed.

Room was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful.

Nothing much, just the shower head was too big and no shower gel.

    10AdrianPosted on: 8-9-2024

Perfect location with a good view of the Millau Viaduct and a short walk to the river. But thd restaurant was quite exceptional and worth a stay in its own right.

Swimming pool was occupied by children playing games!

Great setting, beautiful views of the viaduct, tasty breakfast, comfortable beds, fully functional air conditioning, modernised bathroom, good cocktails st the bar, and great restaurant in the cellar. Free slippers. Nice pool.

It was not cheap, but the value for money was reasonable. We did not explore the surroundings as we just stayed for one night, unsure how much there is to do in the area.

Amazing breakfast outside. Location is very green. The dinner at the restaurant was fabulous!

Absolutely serene. Nicely furnished and very helpful staff. I cannot remember the last time I was shown to my room in a hotel but the do it here. Nice terraces and great view of the bridge.Room very comfortable with a great shower. The restaurant is first class but there is no new deconstruct a tiramisu even if it’s delicious . Breakfast was good with excellent scrambled eggs.

Amazing surroundings and beautiful chateau! The pool was also amazing.

Coffee in the morning was expensive and filter. Everything else was fantastic.

Lovely room with a patioBeautiful groundsVery friendly staff

    9SimonePosted on: 5-5-2024

We had just one night and enjoyed a meal in the lovely vaulted restaurant. The lounge was interesting but not really a comfortable space for an after-dinner drink. Breakfast was good.

    5VincentPosted on: 4-21-2024

Spacious accomodation, very good restaurant in ancient cellar, although limited menu choices. Secure car park. Side view of Millau viaduct.Olde-world chateau with rustic charm in abundance

Mattress uncomfortable. No lift meant carrying suitcases up long flight of stairs to first floor. There was only a hand-held shower in bathroom - not good enough at this price point

Beautiful location, lovely room and friendly staff.

    9RichardPosted on: 11-12-2023

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable room, although a little soulless. Great breakfast although quite expensive...which we only found out when we paid the bill (our fault for not checking).

It would have been nice to have a comfortable armchair in the room and a fixed head shower over the bath. The restaurant food was nice but not outstanding.....it was short on the sort of "knock out" flavour I would expect when paying over 50 € for a three course meal

    9CarlosPosted on: 10-11-2023

Staff was very helpful and patient with my very limited knowledge of French. Property location suited our needs for a 2 night stay. Our friends and us had a wonderful stay.

The restaurant might have offered some changes day to day. Staff did recommend an very good alternative in townthat was exactly what we wanted.

No specific bar however it was nice to sit outside in the gardens to have drinks.Off street parking in the shade of trees.

Poor value for money.Restaurant menu was a rather specific type of food with not a lot of choice so we felt compelled to eat out.Shower in bathroom was ridiculous, the shower either using the large overhead or directional head proved impossible to shower properly without soaking the bathroom floor.

    6MichaelPosted on: 9-23-2023

Staff were welcoming & breakfast was good, property is well presented and the pool offers views toward the Viaduc du Millau. Off street parking within property boundary.

Room was situated next to a stairway & the restaurant, noise from the restaurant & after service tidy up was excessive until just after 11pm. If staying request an upper floor room.
