- Laid back. Good price. Gorgeous place. Quoi qu'il en soit, lorsque vous ÃÂêtes en Bretagne, c'est toujours excellent!
- Terrible experience!
- Location was very good. Not too many people. The staff were pleasant. Beer was good and reasonably priced.Only 15 minutes to the ferry port of Roscoff.
Cons -
- Arrogant, unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Room was dirty, as was the bathroom. Beds were unclean and no pillows. No towels except dirty towels hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Wouldn't eat there due to the above.
- When we arrived at 4h30 pm we were told to wait 1 hour because the room wasn't ready.2 hours later, the room was still not ready. We took the initiative with around 15 other customers to find out where the clean sheets and towels were. Then we changed the bed and clean the room
- Only 2 people to run the whole operation....bar, service, cooking and bookings. Double room was small.

We have stayed here before and the rooms are still clean and comfortable although the beds are a little low for us..
Previously the restaurant in this hotel was exceptional and was used by lots of locals (always a good sign) but seems to have a new owner. This time the restaurant was abominable, we had to wait >90 mins for anything to eat and this was the main course, we never saw the starters/entrees so did not try for a dessert. We had to pinch bread rolls from the nearby breakfast table (which were very dry/hard) as we were getting so hungry having already drunk most of the wine and water (other tables also pinched bread rolls from people leaving the restaurant). There was no salt/pepper nor condiments on any tables??.On arriving at the hotel we were met by the manager who seemed to be on a different planet and was surprised to see us and also us wanting a table for dinner despite having booked this in January and confirmed only a few days earlier. At this time he could not speak much english with some slurring, yet when we complained about the food/service (as did the other tables in the restaurant) he suddenly could speak english very well. The manager greeted us in the same clothes in which he did the cooking with just an apron over his waist/legs.I think they need more staff to make this hotel/restaurant work (the managers son was doing front of house but was obviously new to this and the manager was doing everything else). We did not have breakfast as we were leaving early but the breakfast cereal jars were completely open all the time and there were lots of flies around, possibly due to bad fruit adjacent to the other food so we would not have had breakfast anyway. In > 50 years of going to France this was our worst ever experience.
La Marine is set in a lovely place and very close to the water with a lovely view. The hotel is clean, tidy and has everything you need. The shower in our room was particularly good. Very hot water and powerful. We had breakfast the next day, a selection of pastries and cereal, with fresh juice and a selection of teas and coffees, the breakfast was extra for us as we were unsure if we would have breakfast there. It cost €9 each, so very well priced. The staff were very friendly and dealt with us with our very basic French. Would stay there again as it is very close to the ferry and ideal if you are a late ferry and would like somewhere close nearby that offers food, bed and breakfast.
lovley little hotel in stunning surroundings
restaurant was closed and no where in the village sold food so we had to go bak out after a 7 hr drive and go into St pol de Leon just for a pizza. This should be advertised on the hotel website (the lack of places to eat).
Friendly, helpful staff. A charming and quiet location
The rom was clean , the sheets were clean and the water was hot.
Reception late opening. We were booked in for dinner our first night. The restaurant and bar were closed. Glad we had a car. When we went down for breakfast at 9.00 am, the dining room and bar were closed. We had to ask the cleaner to get the proprietor up to give us breakfast. Breakfast arrived and the croisants were still frozen in the middle.
Lovely and very friendly staff.Good and reasonable priced restaurant with child’s option.Good menu options and fresh seafood. Very much enjoyed. Not far from Roscoff harbour.
Beautiful location . Friendly staff especially about letting out dog stay with us and I had a good night's sleep too . Food was very nice .
Everything was ok no complaints .
I had a room towards the Harbour which I enjoyed a lot
I didn‘t know that the restaurant was closed that night. There is but one pub/ bar in this little village. It served fish and chips and drinks - the only option being by bike. But the pub was a pleasant place and the food was good.
Really well situated for the Roscoff ferry. Good value for money, a clean, comfortable room. It was good to be able to eat in the restaurant
The member of staff appeared a bit overwhelmed which made checking in a bit more difficult
When we arrived, the hotel was locked and all in darkness, my daughter in law phoned several times but no reply.I had emailed the hotel to advise that the Roscoff ferry was delayed but no reply.
Great location. Perfect for an overnight stay and good value for money. Quiet spot - wonderful beaches.. Restaurant was open and dinner was hearty and good atmosphere.
Bathroom very clean but basic needed hand wash/ soap.
Lovely location looking over the harbour and the fishing boats. Friendly staff. Nice and generous breakfast.
Room and facilities quite basic but fine for a stay of one or two nights. We arrived about 10pm after coming off the ferry at Roscoff and struggled to find anything to eat at the hotel and in the village after arrival. If arriving late thereafter, ensure to find something to eat before leaving Roscoff.
Location is beautiful and the pricing is very competitive. Accomodation always clean, covers basic needs with a no frills approach. The breakfast is good value too.
Only downside was size of the towels, although they are often small in French hotels.
The food, the atmosphere, the fact we could bring our dog, the proximity to a beach, the proximity to Roscoff, the laid backattitude.
Beautiful location, have stayed there before
That the restaurant was closed Wednesday evening and my translation app had said closed Wednesday lunchtime only
A really good meal in the restaurant - all cooked freshly and very tasty. The port is beautiful and a good place to stay near to Roscoff for a ferry
