Pros +
- Comfortable room, great location and helpful staff. Restaurant has delicious food and a magnificent view. There is also secure bike storage.
- Well located hotel with really helpful staff and superb restaurant with excellent menu. Public parking nearby. Spacious bedroom and great ensuite.
- Renovated since we last stayed there a couple of years ago, so it’s had a much-needed modernisation.
Cons -
- My room was up 2 flights of stairs which was a bit of a climb!
- Small room, upstairs but no lift. Its roadside location in a small, unbecoming town. Expensive.
- Very disappointed about the soundproofing, I can hear every conversation and difficult to fall asleep with a family next door, I think if you can have the budget to fix it then it would make a 4 stars hotel

Welcoming staff and very friendly, room interior design and clean as in pictures

Great location for trail riding.Private parkingFriendly staff who spoke English
The price of 50cl of beer, 10 Euros
Room needed major uplift. No tea or coffee making facilities. Restraint closed for 2 of 3 nights. There were local bars/ cafes. Photos of hotel looked better than reality. Overall very overpriced.
Not much except staff who were helpful.
Friendly staff, nice pool with a lovely view, excellent dinner
Shower a bit challenging for tall people, but we liked the character of the place
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
The pool was closed at 6pm when we arrived. The beds were comfortable but two of the pillows were dirty and unusable. The town itself is very quiet, with only one cafe/bar open when we arrived. For the price of the room (€120), I'd have expected more or at least it to include breakfast, but it didn't. The choice in this area is limited, hence why we chose it, but I wouldn't bother coming back to the hotel or the town.
the staff
the small shower and the smell of smoke in the hotel
Swimming pool and spa pool
Bed and pillows uncomfortable, dinner very average, service slow, food cold. Petit dejeuner definitely petit, with poor selection and limited supply
Very friendly and helpful staff, room was clean and had air con. Hotel had its own car park which was nice as we had arrived by motorbike. The food in the restaurant was nice, the breakfast was ok with it being a self service buffet.
Rooms aren't very sound proof, had people in the hallways returning to their room being quite noisy. Also, not the hotels fault, but had people shouting at 4am outside.
A very comfortable bed, large room, very quiet at night, clear and comfortable bathroom. Very friendly staff, super helpful and the restaurant in the hotel
De door towards the bathroom is only about 1.8 meter so I hurt my head :-(...
We would not go there again due to the rude attitude by the receptionist.
The room that we ordered on booking had nothing to do with the room that we were given. We were given a small room with a very small window which was completely different from the rooms displayed on the booking page. After raising the issue, the receptionist (a middle-aged man) was very rude and started shouting at us. On the next day, they gave us some discount in the price but our frustration remained.
Location for stopover. If you have more time visit the Morvan it is a beautiful region to walk, bicycle, motorcycle en a visit to the old towns and castles.
We stayed in an annex where the rooms were probably made up afterwards, that must have been the reason for this very small room and bathroom. Bathroom was so small it was dificult to get a decent shower. I booked via Booking.com and reserved a table for diner with if possible a view over the valley. Arrived at the the hotel no table was reserved. Food was ok.
