Nothing really it was adequate for cost and position

Great room, completely renovated, enough light points, enough charging points, television. There is a desk, hangers to hang your coat and other clothes, nice bed. Very nice spacious, clean bathroom and nice thick towels. The room is very well isolated against noice.I arrived after closing time (after 8 pm) and the access system worked easily and flawlessly. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, so it doesn't feel isolated.In the morning the staff was very friendly and the breakfast (wich I didn't take) smelled wonderfull.The hotel is well positioned near the highway, but still far enough not bothered by it

There was a sewer smell in the bathroom.

Very well priced, and ideally located for an overnight stop - which is all we were after. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the facilities were clean and more than enough for what we were after.

Car broke down manager allowed us to stay two extra nights could not have been more helpful

The hotel is perfect for overnight stay while travelling on motorway not the place to be marooned without transport

Checking in works by scanning a QR code which leads to a website to check-in, after which you get a digital key. With us, the registration website didn't work, so we couldn't get in our room at 11pm. There is no staff on site, and the phone number on the booking doesn't work after hours.Luckily an employee from the nearby restaurant was able to contact the owner for us, who then was able to let us inThe room and beds were really good afterwards ?

The room was small and basic but it was clean. The shower was hot and had excellent pressure. The room had reverse cycle air con which was very welcome because Mâcon was freezing when we were there. The staff were the highlight of our stay. They helped us so much with organising taxis despite us knowing very limited french. Breakfast was yummy, locally sourced and they even cooked waffles to order. I highly recommend Fasthotel Mâcon.

Difficult communication with personnell, (no even basic command of English, however 3 flags on the desk...), looks not too much involved. Poor, typical French breakfast not worth the money paid. Cappuccino could be really better....

The motel is just a few minutes away from the motor way. We had a very quiet room and it was perfect for our stay.

We have stayed at this hotel several times with out 2 dogs en route to Spain. The staff are always welcoming and remember us. It is an ideal location just off the motorway. The rooms are basic but comfortable, clean, warm. Breakfast is perfect with waffles made to order. Plenty of tea and coffee, pastries and savouries. The serving staff are always very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay on an ongoing journey. Also, this year we were very pleased to see that the local Italian restaurant was open which is on site.

Above average for a budget hotel. Manager clearly cares and puts extra effort.Most people just use as overnight but we stayed a couple nights as visiting wine regions - good location whether you do Beaujolais Crus or South Burgundy.QuietSimple rooms but comfortable and AIRCON. Picnic tables available all around which in the summer gives extra space.Dog friendly - the unused road next to the hotel is good for short walks. Breakfast was way better than average for this category, organic produce, jams, coffee all.I noticed accessibility effort around the property too.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. We arrived on foot and the restaurant next door was closed so the wonderful chap on reception offered us a choice of meals that he could prepare in the microwave. The hotel didn’t have to do this, it was a kind and resourceful gesture. The meal was very good!
