Pros +
- The room is confortable and the building in really beautiful
- The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the pear tart. The staff was kind and accommodating.
- The location is perfect! The hotel is clean, very dog friendly. You can play pool and drink a glass of wine. The dinner is also very good
Cons -
- The hotel is far from Blois and Celletes, they do not offer even a bottle of water at the room, you need to reserve dinner and breakfast with 1 Day anticipation. And it is forbidden to eat at The room. Mandatory to eat at the town.
- The only negative I would have is the dinner. While a good value, we chose to eat elsewhere with local friends. While the salmon was prepared well, the risotto was gooey and the dessert was not up to par. We will definitely return and recommend hotel and hopefully dinner will have improved. The grounds are soothing and watching the owls was an added pleasure as we sipped our spritz on the patio at sunset. The breakfast atrium is beautiful.
- From the photos and description, I expected to spend the night in a castle, but in reality, it’s a hotel located in a castle building, and the rooms are just standard hotel rooms. I also imagined the restaurant would be in an elegantly decorated dining room inside the castle, but instead, the tables were set outside. It was pretty, but different from my expectations and previous experiences in France. The price is quite high, and breakfast is not included in this price.

The place is cozy and charming, with green grounds, free parking, and a small number of rooms. We booked a table for dinner, and all the food was absolutely delicious, with very reasonable prices in the restaurant.

It was easy to drive to. The check in was fast, polite and friendly. The room was very nice. The dinner outside in the evening was exceptional for the starter, main and dessert. The prices for the room and meals was quite reasonable. I would return if in the area.
Nice location, a lot of parking places, comfortable room, very good bed, quiet. You can hear many birds singing.
AC wasn’t working, a minibar could be useful.
Very nicely renovated, everything worked. Close to Blois and other châteaux. Beautiful setting.
We were disappointed by the authoritarian and inflexible main contact person. In our one-night stay there were three incidents that disappointed us. In our 10 day journey around France it was our worst experience.
the setting is beautifull and the rooms are nice decorated
we do not think it is worth a 4 star hotel, bathroom was very very small, almost impossible to use the bath to shower, breakfast was the minimum, the choice was limited and the quality was poor, there were two rooms but the isolation was non existing, the staff was not so well trained
Breakfast catered to all tastes - charcuterie, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, jams, cake, mueslis and granolas, croissants. All you could possibly want. The staff went out of their way to help, for instance, when I had stained some clothing they washed it for me. Loads of cycle tracks nearby so you don't have to ride on roads with car traffic, and the hotel will rent out bicycles.
We loved the property. Our bedroom was small as in the attic, but had everything we needed. Be aware there may not be a stand up shower in all rooms as we had a shower head on bath, but no room to stand. We were happy as we love baths. We loved the breakfast room orangery and the breakfast itself was fab.
It would have been lovely to have some communal rooms to see and relax in, apart from our bedroom. We feel we didn’t see enough of the inside of the chateau, but understand it is also a home.
Nice hotel for a very good place to stay when visiting the region. Staff is great and everything is very clean. Food is excellent and so is the breakfast with local products
Nothing at all
Beautiful place in the middle of woods.Nice, large , clean rooms . Good breakfast. Most important for me was that they have charging station next to building for electric cars.
Staff wasn’t helpful and there was a misunderstanding about breakfast and dinner. Thy said they are full booked.I did have breakfast but had do go Blois for dinner. When I got back , they weren’t full at all.
Beautiful location, room well decorated. The hot water was very hot, with a bathtub available. Easy access to Blois and cycle routes. Environmentally considerate features in the room.
The bed was rather hard. The in-room drinks were poor, no tea, and just 2 sachets of instant coffee. For the price a decent coffee machine is expected. We didn't have the breakfast, it was too expensive. We used the boulangerie in the village.
quiet room, the breakfast was also good
no mineral water in the room, no refrigerator.
Very good breakfast with local cheese. I was positively surprised. Nice atmosphere in hotel and around. Interesting restaurant in winter garden.
Only main door is like bit noisy when visitors come to hotel late night.
The grounds and surrounding country side was calm and relaxed
Dinner outside was made very uncomfortable by the presence of a large number of flies
Beautiful location. Rooms were comfortable considering it is a Chateau.
Reception and check-in hours could be longer to allow guests to at least leave the luggage at the Chateau.
NOT very much.
Room too small. Bed sheet has a stain. No reception at night to change your sheet. Breakfast was not much selection and overpriced. When booking breakfast, I was told kids for 11 euros and adult 17 euros. However they charged me 4 adults and 1 child for breakfast and would not refund the difference. Also staff at the breakfast room is not friendly to little kid.
Very nice garden, conveniently for parking . Beautiful castle, all the things wonderful!
Gorgeous restored chateau in a pristine forest setting. Very secluded. Beautiful breakfast and plenty of food and options to choose from.
