Pros +
- We really liked the staff. The location was good and we chose this hotel because they had parking. They also had a restaurant. We ate lunch there and our pizza was very good. We will definitely stay there again and we would definitely recommend this place!
- Parking, breakfast and restaurant available. Clean room. Large with space for family of four. Nice view of mountains from room window.
- Friendly welcome and a breakfast fitting the needs.
Cons -
- We liked everything. Nothing negative to add.
- No AC. It was cool when we went, but I’d pack a fan next time to move the air. Also Tarvisio in June shuts down early—nothing seemed to be open at 9 pm and the hotel restaurant was empty by 10.
- As a single traveller I booked a room with one bed. Maybe just bad luck I had with the room I got ... The room I got had a non pleasant smell. On side of the room was facing the main road running thru the village and another side was facing the church. Cars roaring thru the village at nite and the church bells making it hard to find a sleep at nite.

The location is great, parking included, my kids liked the breakfast, but it wasn’t my favorite because there were mostly sweet options. The view from our balcony was nice.
The front desk employee wasn’t the friendliest, she wasn’t rude but just not friendly, which I notice and it makes a big difference for me at hotels.
Disappointing
Very average breakfast with long waiting time to get the missing things. We had to wait for forks. You can eat eggs with the spoon but it is not common.
A basic but comfortable hotel. We had a triple room at a good price. It was nice to be able to squeeze one's own fresh orange juice at breakfast. The nearby ski resort is excellent for red and black runs and just a short drive from the hotel. The hotel has a spacious ski storage room.
Our room had a large balcony with views of the mountains! Lovely. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very kind and welcoming. The room was good for our one night stay.
nothing - all good
Very comfortable single bed room with all you need on its place. Polite lady at reception. Restaurant with delicious food and outstanding views to the mountains. All you need after long day of travelling. Unfortunatelly I didn't try the wellness. Maybe next time.
Staff was very friendly, it helped that I spoke their language. They found a space for my motorcycle in their covered garage. They explained everything, although rather quickly.
The room became quite noisy in the morning facing the main street, the pillow wasn't comfortable for me. TV could not be connected to internet for Netflix/Youtube etc. None was at the reception when I arrived before 7pm. Breakfast offered great variety but very few options for hot food.
Very nice placeVery good breakfest and restaurant
Breakfest at 8.am is too late when you want to make a bike/hike trip
Wonderful service, friendly and professional staff. Very comfortable beds, common hotel areas also useful for working on computer or reading . hotel kitchen very good. I would recommend it
Location
No AC , poor breakfast
Good breakfast, nice hotel, in summer a bit hot in the room but for 1-2 nights it is good enough.
A bit too hot. No mosquito net in windows
Unfortunately there weren't any too positiv things to point out. It was pretty quiet which is a bonus I guess. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast was also pretty okay.
I haven't had any comparable experience. I chose the hotel to got to the sauna which they pointed out on booking. It wasn't available due too construction. After being told about it I went back to the room to work a bit more only to find out that the internet was terrible. Working with 0.65 Mbps is just not possible. Of course there is disappointment after paying a lot for the Hotel and not being able to do what you came for. If I would have known the Sauna isn't available I would have booked somewhere else. But the most annoying experience about the stay was not receiving ANY understanding from the personal. They told me several times the internet is working even when I showed them a news website loading for 10 seconds until some of the content was visible they told me "Look it is working". Later they told me "We are in the mountains" while my phone had 4G and a very strong connection. The issue with the Sauna was similar, after telling them I was looking forward to it and it isn't fair about paying that much for a small room they told me I shouldn't have booked with booking and they just shrugged with their shoulders.
Good breakfast, staff was lovely (both receptionist, cleaner and waitresses), free parking. Nice baby travel cot for my little one.
The owner was very rude. Spa and sauna were apparently not working. Room and bathroom design and furniture very old. Not worth the money in my opinion.
The hired staff are the only kind people there. Location is the only good point for this place.
The owners of the property are not welcoming. They serve at the restaurant and have poor manners and hospitality skills. make you feel unwelcomed and doing a "favor" to host you there. Stay way from this place.....
Good location, free parking, room was clean
When we arrived a little earlier before check-in, the woman at the reception told us that she didn't have time for us right now, at 3:00 p.m. at the earliest (check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 p.m.). The sauna was not in operation for a single day of our stay, they told us that they don't have a person who takes care of it. There were a lot of sweet pastries at breakfast, but as for the rest, there was ham, but no cheese, no eggs, and no vegetables at all. When you asked for some of it, you got it in a small portion the next day, and the answer was that it was just an Italian breakfast and they don't eat anything like that for breakfast.
The hotel is very well operated, all is fine, it is in a well renovated but probably historic building and the restaurant is very good -- albeit not exactly cheap.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.Dinner was good.
Work in room next door meant drilling noises when we arrived but reception got them to stop the noisy work.Breakfast was dreadful, not a bad selection but problems with coffee machine and the buffet wasn't covered so there were several flies on everything as the door to the terrace was wide open. Could have done with fly wires - and on the bedroom windows too as we had our window open overnight because there was no fan in the room, but I was bitten several times by mosquitoes!
Welcoming, friendly hotel with a very good restaurant on site. Great stop for cyclists doing the Alpe-Adria route, with a safe location for locking up bikes provided.
