- Staff very helpful garage available for our motorcycles lovely room breakfast served across the square in cafe, really good value
- The hotel is more like a boutique hotel. All details are well taken care of. We were given an ample attic room, that was very comfortable, with all amenities well working. The room was crystal clear, breakfast is served in the bar nearby, and is quite good and fulfilling (with excellent home made bica). Easy parking around. There's a wonderful common area with sofa and armchairs at first floor, and paintings hanging from the walls are so artistic, we loved every moment of our stay. The staff is extremely welcoming, little English spoken though.Would recommend this hotel hands down.
- Immaculately clean with tasteful decor ,extremely comfortable beds and excellent bathroom with great shower .Right in the centre of the town .Staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful
Cons -
- NO !
- We heard conversations from other guests late at night. While not loud, they made it through the walls.
- I would have liked to have been able to make a hot drink, but these were available in a nearby bar anyway.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and right in the middle of the pretty town, a couple of minutes walk to the castle.
We heard conversations from other guests late at night. While not loud, they made it through the walls.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and a continental breakfast along with great coffee provided made this a wonderful value stop-off.
Although our room was under the roof and quite hot when we arrived, the air conditioning worked well and the room soon became a pleasant temperature in which it was easy to sleep. The shower had good water pressure and the temperature was easy to adjust.Breakfast was provided at a café 50yards away. It was simple but very pleasant.
I would have liked to have been able to make a hot drink, but these were available in a nearby bar anyway.
Very pleasant staff. Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Excellent location. Very reasonable price with a good breakfast included.
The smiling welcome from the staff at reception. The cosy attic bedroom is spotlessly clean and comfortable, with air con. Secure parking for our motorcycle. The location, in the centre of the town, with all is activity to observe from the cafe. Everything in the hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is served in the cafe across the square, which is part of the hotel, and the friendly staff there make you feel very welcome. Very highly recommended accommodation.
This is a small rural hotel very well situated to visit the "Ribera Sacra". The rooms are comfortable and the personnel is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is in a cafeteria in front (belonging to the same people). The toasts with oil and tomato and the bica are very good.
Not much to complain about.
The brick walls and full window gave a lot of character to the place, the bathroom was huge, the wood floors made the place very homely. Staff were exceptionally lovely, they had a free room and upgraded us, in reception they sell lots of local food and souvenirs. It was a very pleasant stay.
Location in the main square of the village. The hotel was well decorated and constructed with noble materials : wooden stairs and stone walls.
Tne comfort of the bed was not so good and the shower needs to be repaired.
Nice small quiet hotel used as a convenient stop-over after a day exploring the Sil Canyons as part of a longer tour before heading down to Salamanca. Not much to see in Caldelas and very limited eating options, especially on a Sunday. However it served its purpose admirably.
Shower cubicle door was broken.Beware of attic rooms in the height of summer. They will be extremely hot, it was warm in the middle of June even with Aircon.
Charming room overlooking the square. Small bar fridge. Basic breakfast is served in a cafe across the road. Friendly and helpful hostess. Plenty of parking in the street outside.
Limited dining options in town, pretty basic at best.
It had a nice bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. I liked that we were close to several cafes and shops. We had a free parking space opposite, it was street parking but it wasn't busy and was super convenient.
The windows face directly on to the street, so they could all have done with some sheer curtains for a bit more privacy.
This is a charming small hotel right in the centre of town. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to park our motorcycles in their garage without charge. Our rooms were nicely decorated in a modern style and immaculately clean. The breakfast was included and was provided in a cafe across the square. Lots of choice and very good coffee. Definitely first choice if I'm ever in the area again.
The hotel doesn't have a dining room and there aren't many places to choose from for an evening meal. We ate at Casa Rural Pousada Vicente Risco which I can recommend.
Located in a charming town very close to the Sil Canyon, this B&B is a good option for the area. Breakfast is served in a cafe right next to it.
A very charming hotel located in a perfect spot for visiting Ribeira Sacra. Very clean and its owners make you feel welcomed
Breakfast was simple, no cheese, ham or fruits. But a very good orange juice and coffee. Excellent price benefit for the room. The heater is excellent, pillow and mattress very good.
The people were super nice, welcoming and friendly. The place was clean and beautiful. The town was a dream. and the drive was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to any one. exceeded my expectations
It was cheap and enough for one night.
The bed needs to be fumigated.
