Full breakfast buffet was a real treat! Roaming the hotel grounds after check out, we explored the property for close to an hour, snapping photos and taking in the gorgeous landscape.

There was no air-conditioning, only a single oscillating fan.The shower experience was functional but less than ideal.

The location is great. It's calm and relaxing to be around here, away from all the touristic stuff. Besides that, the Tuscany/Toskana country side is easily accessible from this location. I enjoyed walking around the village and the drives around this place on country roads. Famous Tuscany villages like Volterra & San Gimignano are around 30 minutes to 1 hour drive from this place.PS: I do not know how calm the surroundings will be, if the hotel is fully occupied.

The shower compartment is leaky and floods the bathroom a bit.

The staff are all very accommodating, the location is remote and situated in quiet little town perfect for getting away from the loud city. It's a little paradise.

Wonderful location with amazing views. Every facility you would ever need and the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever come across - they even got their car out for us to follow when a road was closed and the satnav couldn't find another route. We will 100% stay there again and next time we will base ourselves there.

It was a nice ride on the motorcycle to the hotel . It had a good carpark for the bike . The staff was really nice . There was food on site as well . It was nice and quiet out the way , just the job for me away from all the tourists . The room was clean and all was good

Found the food in the expensive side , but that is what it is and I didn’t have to buy it

Nice hotel, almost like a resort with swimming pools. The hotel has a restaurant and our room had its own balcony. :)

The sound insulation in the rooms was not very good.

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the setting was—views out to the mountains and the sea.

Our map app had trouble finding the hotel, party because it turned the street number 1/3 into 13, but partly because Via dei Giardini is not contiguous and the hotel is located on a different section of the road, off of Via Roma. Perhaps there could be better explanation of how to get there.

This was our favourite of the hotels we stayed at during our trip around Tuscany. Very short walk into the nearby small town of Castellina Marittima, which we enjoyed visiting. Everywhere was clean and our room was comfortable with a fan. The rooms are located in 2 separate buildings across the car park from each other. Ours was separate from the main building with the restaurant and it had a fridge on the ground floor that we could use to chill drinks. The pool was lovely and was kept very clean. Children's paddling pool was also great. Breakfast was plentiful with a choice of cold meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, fruits, cakes, bread, yoghurt, jams...... and the best coffee! The restaurant in the evening was good value with generous portions, delicious food and lovely waitresses. We enjoyed very much and will hope to visit again.
