Hotel Rural Serrella

Well located in small pretty quiet village, close to hiking routes. Room was large with balcony. Bathroom good with lots of hot water. Staff were excellent and helpful. Food was very good with generous portions. Breakfast was great and plentiful.

All the staff were friendly. The restaurant food excellent. Location good for a short stroll into the village. Great place if you enjoy hiking and cycling.

The restaurant facilities were closed Wednesday and Thursday which wasn't made known at the time of booking. Luckily we were visiting over the weekend so was not a problem to us. If we had been unlucky to visit Wed or Thursday one of our party is infirm and as such would have had no means to get food locally due to the location of the nearest establishment that offered a food service. Would advise hotel to notify guests on booking of amenities open.

Excellent location for attending the Rally La Nucia. Lovely room with a great view. Very good evening meal and breakfast. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Bedroom was cold and the aircon heater was slow to warm up. Personally I would have preferred a duvet to the blanket and bedspread.

Dinner was excellent and bed was very comfortable.

We did not receive the warm welcome others experienced. We arrived at 4 30 to a closed sign and locked gate.. We used the intercom a was greeted by a not particularly friendly lady who checked us in.The room was clean but tired and in need of updating. We were at the front of the building and the noise from the olive oil processing factory was very loud in the morning. Apparently you need to phone them and ask for a room at the back with mountain views. We did ask to move but was told the hotel was full which it didn't appear to be..

Everything is excellent, even before we checked in. Correspondence was prompt. We checked in during the late afternoon, hungry, while the restaurant has not open for dinner. The host was so kind to make us the best ham/cheese toast! She also recommended us places to go, with clear instructions. Turn out to be one of the best we went to! Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Love the home made marmalade!Carpark is just outside the hotel, 1min walk away. Everything is perfect. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely return if we travel that area again! Thank u!!

We went at probably the worst time. There was an all night rock concert

Breakfast and the evening meal were excellent. Healthy and different

The hospitality was really different from anywhere else we experienced before. We felt not only taken care of as guests but also on a personal level. Juana and Larissa made everything they could to keep the smile on us (specially our little son) and we think we have friends there now ?. Thanks for everything.By the way, the food was also super tasty there. We had dinner twice ?

Good location, exceptional view from room at back of hotel.

When booking it stated 5kilometres frim Guadalest - but by road we had to abandon the trip as it was an hour on unmade bumpy and dangerous and narrow tracks - a local told us itvwas inly possible in a 4 x 4 vehicle.

Made us extremely welcome. Plenty of choice on the menu, good food and wine, lovely authentic stay.

Perfect little Spanish mountain village hotel. Great food, much of it local. If you need lots of excitement this is not for you. If you want peace, relaxation, amazing mountain scenery and as much or as little hiking as you can cope with do come here.

A beautiful mountain setting. Top notch home cooking (breakfast and evening meal) Very friendly staff. Chilly weather but we loved the wood (pellet) burning stove.

Location was good, great breakfast.

Very tired, basic rooms. Cheap, noisy mattress. Shower was weak and not very hot.

Staff were lovely, and the food was fabulous especially the Solomillo???

Only the toilet door jammed when opening to exit?

Very close to the centre of the village and a good breakfast.

Great food, ample breakfast with croissant, jam, toasted baguette, ham, cheese, boiled egg, homemade cake, tea, coffee and juice. Great options for almuerzo, lunch and dinner too with two menu del días at different price levels as well as tapas and a la carte. Lovely attentive staff and some unique local dishes to sample.

The studio has a kitchen but there were no pots, pans, crockery or cutlery so it was a bit of a wasted opportunity.
